Chapter 13 - lizardmen

Other Goblins didn't know what was happening.

But if the boss was running, they certainly had to follow.

Aden wasn't foolish; he knew exactly what had happened.

His action of touching the spider web must have alerted the Ghost spiders deep in the forest.

In the dim forest, dozens of Goblins sprinted frantically.

They didn't stop until they had run several kilometers.

In the dim forest, Aden leaned against a large tree, gasping for breath.

Looking down at the spider web in his hand, Aden's face showed a sense of novelty.

It was a bit sticky, but extremely tough.

Looking around, Aden walked towards a puddle not far away.

Aden squatted on the ground in front of the puddle and immersed the spider web in the water.

He grabbed the spider web and scrubbed it vigorously.

In no time, the stickiness of the spider web was washed away.

The originally large mass of spider web turned into a ball of transparent silk threads.

Aden straightened the silk threads, holding one end in each hand and pulled hard.

The threads stretched a bit but did not break.

"Great stuff!"

The elasticity and toughness of the silk threads made Aden's eyes light up.

The spider web of the Ghost spiders was an excellent material for making bowstrings.

With bowstrings, Aden had no problem making simple crossbows with the knowledge in his mind.

If the Goblins had crossbows as weapons, their combat power would definitely increase significantly.

"Boss, what are you doing?"

Drak'nira approached with a curious look.

"You'll find out later!"

These tiny spider silks were the key to his conquest of this world.

He would use the knowledge from Earth to bring the Goblins into the Iron Age.

"Vara!"

At that moment, a sudden change occurred in the forest.

A group of strong and tall figures rushed out with a coarse roar.

They pounced on the resting Goblins, swinging their large machetes down at them.

The resting Goblins were beheaded before they could react.

The sudden attack frightened the Goblins.

"It's lizardmen, it's lizardmen!"

Facing the nearly two-meter-tall lizardmen with black scales all over their bodies, the Goblins panicked and scattered.

The Goblins wanted to escape, but the lizardmen were faster.

Their rusty machetes knocked down one Goblin after another.

Some Goblins wanted to fight back, but the difference in combat power was huge.

The sticks in their hands were chopped to pieces, and the machetes almost cut off half of their bodies.

The lizardmen could kick a Goblin flying more than ten meters away with one kick.

There were only a dozen lizardmen, but they chased and killed Goblins in the forest.

The sudden attack startled Aden and Drak'nira.

A lizardman targeted the two of them.

His golden pupils stared at them, charging over with a large machete.

**lizardmen**

**Level: 22**

**Strength: 37**

**Defense: 31**

**Agility: 33**

**Mana: 5**

Aden glanced at the lizardmen in the forest.

He noticed that none of them were below level 20.

They were all between levels 20 and 30.

"Humph, I'm not afraid of you!"

Aden snatched the spiked club from Drak'nira, who was about to confront the lizardman, and charged forward.

Seeing the tiny Goblin dare to charge into battle, a trace of mockery flashed through the lizardman's eyes.

It grinned, leaped up, and swung its machete down at Aden.

Aden did not dodge, instead, he swung the spiked club to meet the attack.

"Bam!"

The weapons collided with a loud "bang."

The lizardman felt a tremendous force surge from the machete in its hand.

It numbed its wrist, causing the machete to fly out of its grasp.

"Die!"

Aden grinned at the disbelieving lizardman.

His left hand struck directly at the lizardman's heart.

"Sss!"

The lizardman's heart was pierced.

The seemingly heavy lizardman was lifted high by the small Aden.

Aden flung the lizardman down and revealed a still-beating heart in his hand.

Looking at the warm heart in his hand, Aden took a greedy bite.

"Mmm, the heart of a sentient creature is indeed delicious!"

Aden's face was filled with satisfaction, his ferocious mouth covered in blood.

A lizardman not far away noticed the situation.

It charged over with a loud cry.

"What are you saying? I don't understand!"

Aden discarded the heart in his hand and forcefully threw his spiked club.

The club spun through the air.

Traveling dozens of meters, the club struck the lizardman's head with precision.

Another "bang" was heard, and the lizardman was sent flying.

The club was also deflected.

The lizardman fell to the ground, convulsing.

Its head was twisted out of shape, with a large amount of blood flowing from its mouth and nose.

Aden ran towards the machete not far away.

He picked up the machete and charged at the lizardmen.

"Kill them, Gorgath, Gorgath!"

Seeing their boss instantly slay two lizardmen, Drak'nira's face lit up with excitement.

He roared and chanted.

The fleeing Goblins, seeing their boss's bravery, were greatly encouraged.

"Gorgath, Gorgath!"

The Goblins stopped fleeing and charged at the lizardmen with excitement.

"Where are you looking!"

Aden quickly approached a lizardman.

The rusty machete in his hand swung open and closed, chopping towards it.

The lizardman was also quick to react, hastily parrying with its knife.

"Clang!"

A metallic clash was heard, with sparks flying.

The immense force slightly changed the lizardman's expression, and its body slid backward several meters before it could dissipate the force.

After the first strike was blocked, Aden pressed forward, slashing down.

This time, the lizardman was not so fortunate.

Aden spun, and the machete glided across the lizardman's chest.

The tall lizardman was split in half, its upper body flying off.

Blood splattered all over, the pungent smell of blood agitating Aden's entire body.

"Kill, kill, kill!"

Aden, with red eyes like a wild beast, charged at the lizardmen.

No technique, just sheer brute force.

One after another, the lizardmen were chopped down by Aden.

It was only then that the lizardmen noticed Aden as an anomaly.

But they could no longer afford to care.

Because the morale-boosted Goblins surrounded them from all directions.

They were strong, but they were outnumbered.

Some lizardmen had already been knocked down by the Goblins and beaten to death.

"La la la!"

Seeing the situation was not good, one lizardman suddenly let out a scream.

The remaining five lizardmen quickly turned and fled deeper into the forest.

The lizardmen's retreat further boosted the Goblins' morale.

They chased after them, crying out.

"Come back!"

Aden's explosive shout stopped the Goblins from pursuing.

This loud roar intimidated the fervent Goblin minions.

All the Goblin minions were frightened into immobility.

"Eat them all!"

Upon hearing their boss's words, the Goblins' eyes lit up.

They eagerly rushed towards the nearest corpses to feast.

For a while, the dim forest was filled with the sounds of humming chewing.

First the bodies of the lizardmen, then the bodies of their own kind.
