Chapter 39: I Created the A-Rank Ninjutsu Rasengan

Land of Grass, Konoha camp.

It's been over three months since that incident with Kushina, and over a year has passed since the incident with Nawaki. Now, it's the early summer of the following year.

In the heat of early summer, with some rare downtime on the front lines, many shinobi take advantage of their shift breaks to laze around in the camp.

Meanwhile, at a small waterfall behind the camp, Uchiha Yosuke sits cross-legged on the water's surface, holding two black senbon in his hands. Between the two senbon, arcs of electricity occasionally flicker.

In front of the waterfall, Yosuke extends his right hand, his expression serious as tangible chakra continuously gathers in his palm.

"Three months, my arm is sore and swollen… still just a bit off!"

Yosuke's face is full of concentration as he grits his teeth, struggling to steady his trembling hand.

The Rasengan, this A-Rank jutsu, is difficult to master, even when one knows the steps. It certainly deserves its A-Rank classification due to its challenge.

Ninjutsu levels aren't just based on power but also on the difficulty of training combined with power, which together define the rank.

'Naruto trained in this jutsu after the Chunin Exams, and his chakra control and jutsu knowledge weren't as advanced as mine now. His biggest advantage was his large chakra reserves, and this jutsu was developed based on the Tailed Beast Bomb!'

Yosuke recalls the information about this jutsu in his mind and suddenly has an epiphany, his face lighting up with excitement.

'If that's the case, then the biggest difficulty with this jutsu is the chakra quantity! It requires compressing and rotating a large amount of chakra in one spot while maintaining stable output!'

High-density chakra spins in his palm, and the burns don't bother Yosuke at all. His gaze is steadfast.

*Boom!*

To test his idea, he releases his training shadow clone, focusing all his energy. A blue sphere of chakra appears in his palm instantly.

"It… it worked!"

Seeing the chakra sphere in his palm, Yosuke is overjoyed. He presses the Rasengan against a boulder in front of the waterfall.

In an instant—

**Boom!**

The terrifying blue chakra sphere leaves a deep, round crater on the rock.

"This kid… he actually did it!"

Tsunade, who happened to be passing by, witnesses this scene with surprise. The kid had been training like mad for three months.

"Three months! He created an A-Rank jutsu!"

"I did it!" Yosuke laughs with excitement, but his face twists in pain as he looks at his sore arm.

"Hey, kid, didn't I tell you not to push yourself?"

Tsunade's stern voice pulls him back to reality.

Seeing Tsunade, Yosuke smiles and, rubbing his trembling hand, says, "Captain Tsunade, I've already put today's supply report on your desk."

"Kid, that's not what I'm talking about."

Tsunade huffs, stepping forward across the water in her high heels, red-painted toenails visible as she approaches.

"Kid, how many times have I told you about the risks of using shadow clones for training!"

Under her scolding, Yosuke obediently nods and says, "Captain Tsunade, you mentioned that my Cursed Seal and bloodline trait possess a special chakra that enhances my recovery, especially mentally. As long as I control it properly, shadow clone training won't be dangerous."

"And I've only been using shadow clones for chakra nature transformation training. This training requires mental focus but uses minimal chakra, stamina, and mental energy."

Seeing Yosuke's obedient attitude, Tsunade frowns slightly in frustration. This Uchiha kid is diligent in handling tasks like organizing supply data, where he's an administrative expert.

But when it comes to stubbornness, he'll nod and agree, then do whatever he wants.

"Kid, hold out your right hand."

Yosuke obediently extends his arm, a scene that's replayed countless times in the camp.

Many shinobi witnessing this scene have privately confirmed one thing: Tsunade has found herself a loyal pup—an Uchiha at that!

**Sizzle!**

The cool feeling of medical ninjutsu on his arm brings a look of enjoyment to Yosuke's face as he gratefully says, "Thank you, Captain Tsunade."

While many shinobi know that shadow clones can be used for training, it's a method unsuitable for most because of its heavy toll on mental energy. For most, training with shadow clones takes longer to recover from than normal training.

Excessive use can even be life-threatening, so most shinobi abandon this method. Currently, only a few people, including Jinchuriki, can safely use it for training.

"The jutsu you just performed is highly dangerous. Given its power and training difficulty, it can indeed be classified as A-Rank."

As Tsunade heals his hand, she glances at the marks left by the jutsu and nods in acknowledgment.

Yosuke smiles and nods in agreement with her assessment.

"This jutsu is powerful, and it requires a huge amount of chakra. Most Chunin could only manage it once, making it nearly impossible to train in."

A regular Chunin's chakra reserves would only allow a single use. How much training could they manage?

With equal talent, a shinobi with more chakra could master it in three months, while one with less would need ten times as long.

"I'm pretty lucky; I awakened two bloodlines, and my chakra reserves are far above those of the average Uchiha."

With a smile, Yosuke acknowledges that bloodline shinobi inherently have stronger chakra.

Especially in the Uchiha clan, where chakra levels far exceed those of ordinary shinobi.

Tsunade raises an eyebrow and says with a huff, "So, kid, why don't you mention how bloodline disorders can shorten your lifespan?"

Her remark leaves Yosuke speechless. He thinks that, with her help, his bloodline disorder should be fully cured (or fused) within three years.

Outwardly, however, he doesn't dare retort and simply laughs awkwardly.

Seeing this, Tsunade smirks victoriously.

"Kid, training is good, but why aren't you practicing the summoning technique I taught you?"

Yosuke's face shows embarrassment. Could he say he didn't have time? And he also had to maintain his image as an Uchiha.

Tsunade, sensing his pride, raises an eyebrow and teases him, "Afraid people will gossip?"

Just then, the sound of two shinobi chatting drifts over from the distant forest, and Tsunade's face darkens with anger.
