Chapter 130 - Chapter 130: The Assault on Beast Roar Prime

Feng Mo's fleet had two T4-grade Interceptor Bio-ships, which had largely been idle since their creation. Now was their time to shine. Similarly, the quasi-T5 Mammoth-class Star Carrier had yet to be tested in a major offensive, making this an excellent opportunity to gauge its strength.

"Now for the battle plan," Feng Mo announced. "First, the four T4 Scorpion Stealth Bombers will infiltrate the enemy starport and target any docked ships, fighters, or mechs. Cause as much chaos as possible. All actions are to be directed by Mellow."

"Commander Aier, you're in charge of the Mammoth-class Carrier. Deploy drones to launch a destructive assault on all enemy defenses at the starport."

"Tian Guang, you'll lead the Crystal Fleet in coordination with the Storm Fleet and the two Interceptor Bio-ships to withstand at least three rounds of enemy fire."

"Feng Tianyi, once Aier and Mellow succeed, take a mecha squadron down to the Beast Roar Prime and hunt down all New Human Church personnel. Eliminate any resistance. Don't forget to search the underground sector—if the surface is a haven for beasts, the underground likely serves as the Church's research facility."

"Yes, sir!" responded the fleet commanders, each preparing their roles. Everything proceeded as expected. As soon as the Storm Alliance Fleet entered radar range, alarms blared across Beast Roar Prime, and all T4 missile cannons locked onto Feng Mo's ships.

Meanwhile, two enemy fleets from the New Human Church, totaling nine hundred vessels, took to the skies, forming a tight formation—clearly wary of stealth bombers.

In the control room of the Hurricane, Feng Mo received another video call request from the enemy. Reluctant to waste time, he gestured to Hua Qin to decline the call, but the enemy was persistent. Deciding to buy Mellow some time, Feng Mo ultimately accepted the call.

On the screen was an elderly man in a red robe—clearly the Pope of the New Human Church.

"First, allow me to congratulate you, Duke Feng Mo. Second, I offer you a chance: if you withdraw now, we'll forget this incident ever happened. Better yet, if you join the Church, I'll personally grant you both the Celestial Crystal and Beast Roar Systems, along with a T5 starship to support your ascension to kingship. What do you say?"

The Pope spoke with unwavering confidence, as if sure Feng Mo would accept. But he was in for a disappointment.

"I'm afraid I'll have to decline. The Celestial Crystal System is already mine, and once I take Beast Roar Prime, both systems will belong to me. As for that T5 starship you mentioned, I don't see it anywhere, do I?"

Feng Mo's tone was dripping with sarcasm, showing no regard for the Pope's authority. However, he remained watchful—this Church had a dark edge, and from his two lifetimes of experience, he knew to expect the unexpected.

"Duke Feng Mo," the Pope retorted, "I call you 'duke' out of respect. But make no mistake—you're just a slightly larger ant in our eyes. Do you really think the Interstellar Human Federation is the center of the universe? Such naivety."

"Let me enlighten you: this is merely a branch of the New Human Church. I am but one of thirty-six Popes. Imagine the Church's true strength. If you surrender and join us now, I'll even recommend you as a Pope of your own division."

Feng Mo had no patience for the Church's deranged fanaticism, so he ended the call, ignoring the Pope's offer. Mellow soon confirmed that they were in position, and it was time to act.

Four T4 Scorpions had quietly approached the starport. Meanwhile, the entire Storm Alliance Fleet had moved into formation. On the outer perimeter were the T4 Crystal Ships and T4 Shield and Blade Ships, followed by the T4 Interceptor Bio-ships, forming the first line of defense.

With the combined firepower of point-defense turrets and interceptor bio-ships, Feng Mo estimated they could intercept up to 80% of incoming missiles before they even reached the shields.

To draw enemy fire, Feng Mo ordered the Hurricane to initiate the assault. Its quasi-T5 Dreadnought Cannon fired a searing orange beam that pierced straight through the shields of an enemy T4 ship, leaving a gaping hole. With this first shot, the battle commenced.

"Charge all main and secondary cannons across the fleet! Lock onto all enemy ships in the Beast Roar starport! Fire with everything you have!" roared the bald-headed bishop, nearly on the verge of his beast transformation. His subordinates kept their distance, fearful that he might lose control and tear them apart.

Inside Beast Roar's starport, the atmosphere was tense, with all defenses primed. In the control room, two bishops watched the radar closely for any signs of movement outside the starport.

Inside one of the T4 Scorpions, Mellow, overseeing operations, directed three additional Scorpions to move into position. At that moment, the starport's three hundred missile cannons locked onto the Storm Alliance Fleet, while all T4 and T3 combat ships took to the skies, ready for battle.

The starport docks were filled with T3 logistics vessels and civilian T1 and T2 ships, presenting prime targets. Mellow had been instructed to sow chaos, and that's exactly what she intended to do.

"Scorpions One and Two, head south to north. Fire all torpedoes and missiles. Scorpions Three and Four, go from west to east and do the same. Once the initial barrage is complete, aim the remaining anti-matter missiles at the main control tower," Mellow ordered.

"Yes, Commander!"

The four T4 Scorpions executed the maneuver, decloaking as they closed in on the starport. Every 500 meters, Scorpions One and Two fired a seismic missile or proton torpedo, while Scorpions Three and Four alternated with kinetic beam missiles or pulse torpedoes. The Scorpion crews had perfected the use of these weapons through relentless practice.

In an instant, the Beast Roar starport was engulfed in a series of fiery explosions. Every docked ship became a primary target, with each vessel facing a hail of torpedoes and missiles.

Meanwhile, observing from the command room, Aier saw the starport ablaze through radar imagery. Recognizing the opportune moment, he issued his command.

"All drones from the Mammoth, except for T4-grade ship-busters, launch immediately! Target every defensive structure in the Beast Roar starport!"

"Yes, Commander!"

The quasi-T5 Mammoth Carrier released waves of drones, sending them hurtling toward the starport. A wall of drones descended upon the starport defenses, unleashing a relentless assault.

In the midst of the chaos, the New Human Church's defensive cannons fired volley after volley at the incoming drones, but the overwhelming numbers and constant barrage took their toll. The drones tore through missile launchers and laser cannons alike, dismantling the carefully constructed defensive network.

The intense bombardment continued, creating waves of destruction across the starport. T3 and T4 missiles from the bio-ships and drones kept up the pressure, gradually reducing the enemy's defensive capabilities.

Seeing the destruction, Feng Mo knew that the New Human Church's stronghold was crumbling. The chaotic scene played out exactly as he had planned.

He turned to Hua Qin with a satisfied grin. "The battle's going better than expected. Once we secure Beast Roar Prime, the Celestial Crystal System will be fully protected, and the New Human Church won't have a foothold left."

Hua Qin nodded, sharing his confidence. The once formidable defenses of the New Human Church on Beast Roar Prime were falling, and soon enough, this territory would belong to the Storm Alliance. With the joint power of the Celestial Crystal System and the Beast Roar System, Feng Mo's dominion was set to expand, fortifying his ambitions in the galaxy.
