*Bang*
The Minotaurus' large axe slammed into the ground, sending dust flying everywhere.
I had successfully dodged that terrifying attack and was trying to regain my balance. I needed to quickly stand up to continue dealing with it, I couldn't just sit there and roll around dodging its attacks. If I couldn't attack it, what was the point of dodging its attacks.
'But how should I deal with it?'
It was an E+ rank monster that was about to break through to D-! How could an F- rank like me deal with it?
'Use your brain!! There must be a way to deal with this situation!'
I didn't have time to think about anything else, what I needed to do was deal with the boss if I wanted to escape this place. I couldn't rely on someone opening the gate from the outside.
But to be honest, meeting the boss alone made me feel extremely panicked. My mind couldn't clear up enough to think of anything reasonable for this situation.
"Roargggg"
The Minotaurus was furious that I dodged its axe swing. It roared angrily and turned to continue attacking me. It charged towards me with a large axe in its hand and its eyes were bloodshot.
'Shit!'
I stood up and quickly ran. I needed to buy time until my brain came up with a feasible plan to deal with this boss.
'There must be a way...'
I was urging my brain to work while the Minotaurus was chasing me closely behind. Luckily, Minotaurus didn't have a high movement speed so I could continue running away like this.
"Roargggg"
After chasing for a while without any results, the Minotaurus roared angrily and increased its movement speed. It raised its large axe and swung it at me.
'Fuck! Give me time to think!!'
I cursed inwardly and rolled to the right, once again successfully dodging its attack.
If I had to say that Minotaurus had any outstanding weaknesses, I would definitely say it was its wild, quick-tempered nature. Along with that, its speed was not very outstanding. This made its attacks, although very powerful, extremely predictable and easy to dodge.
It was true that I was quite lucky to encounter a boss like Minotaurus. At least I could still avoid it until I found a weak point to attack. If I had encountered other species, I would have buried myself by now.
The Minotaurus with its axe firmly planted in the ground was now boiling with anger. It breathed heavily and let go of the axe. With blood-red eyes, it pointed its long, large horns at me and charged straight at me. It seemed to have realized that using an axe would only hinder its attack speed.
"Damn it!!! Didn't people say that these bulls are stupid?!"
What kind of stupidity would they have to drop their weapons to increase their speed????
'It must be that demon's trick!'
There was no doubt that the damn demon had buffed the Minotaurus' intelligence. There was no way it could use its brain. This species could only act on instinct!
But it seemed this species was inherently unintelligent, so even with an intelligence boost, this was the best they could do. If they had been any smarter, how would I have even dodged their attacks? There were plenty of ways they could have caught me; I was simply running away.
'It's getting faster, not good'
The Minotaurus was now right behind me. I couldn't continue running, its speed had caught up with me. I had to use a trick.
Thanks to the continuous running, my mind was much clearer. I could think of some tricks to make this boss reveal its weakness.
'There it is'
In front of me was the wall of the boss room. As soon as I was about to touch the wall, I jumped to the side, leaving the angry Minotaurus with its horns pointed straight at the wall.
*Bang*
It slammed straight into the wall causing a slight vibration. Its large horns were now embedded in the thick wall, causing it to get stuck. It was annoyed and tried to pull its horns out but it didn't seem to be easy.
'It's only giving up its axe to increase its speed a little, but its attacks are still as predictable as before'
This was my chance to attack it. I had to take advantage of the moment when it was stuck to attack it.
I activated Sharp Gaze and observed the boss. It originally had few weak points, but now that it was stuck, there were many openings. It revealed even more weak points.
Through my skills, I saw that there were a few bright spots on its body. But the most prominent spot was still the heart area. There was a strong red light emitting from there, different from the other bright spots that were only white. This was the manifestation of its fatal weakness.
Without hesitation, I drew my sword and activated Convergence, aiming straight for its heart and stabbing.
But it wasn't that easy, I had completely ignored its two arms.
As soon as I approached with the sword in my hand, the Minotaurus swung its arm towards me. I was in a state of attack without any defense, and without any doubt, I was hit.
Its swing carried an extremely large force, sending me flying a long distance. I could tell that several of my ribs were broken right now. Some of the broken bones even poked out from my skin.
Immediately after landing, I lost my momentum and rolled around. The broken ribs made me feel extremely painful.
I used my hands to support my broken body. At this moment, my body was covered in fresh blood, looking extremely terrifying.
The red blood staining my already pale skin made my skin look even paler and more pale. That made my current appearance look like a corpse. It was chilling just to look at it.
'Damn it. I was so careless.'
The Minotaurus had now successfully pulled its horns out of the wall. It stared at me and charged forward once more, not giving me any time to rest.
I could only curse silently as I endured the pain, trying to move once more. But my body wouldn't listen to me, it was too broken to continue moving. I could only sit there helplessly.
'Move, my body!!!'. I screamed in my mind.
Just as the Minotaurus was about to get closer, a crazy idea came to me. I dug out a low-level healing potion from my Storage Space and drank it all, followed by a mid-level mana recovery potion and a mid-level stamina recovery potion. Even so, my body didn't improve much because the wound was too severe for the low-level healing potion to heal. Then, without hesitation, I once again activated Sharp Gaze, which had been deactivated after the boss's attack. I gripped my sword tightly and prepared my stance.
I didn't know if my idea would work, but I could only take a risk now.
'Right now!'
Just as the Minotaurus was close to me, I used all my strength to push myself forward. My goal was to get under the boss's legs.
The moment the boss's crotch just passed by my head. A strong light flashed, I activated Convergence without hesitation, stabbing straight at that light.
The moment my sword just stabbed straight at that light. The effect of Convergence was immediately activated, dealing a large amount of damage to the boss. I then pulled out my sword and rolled a few times, trying to increase the distance between us.
It let out a painful roar and fell to its knees. Its legs clamped tightly and its two hands held onto its bleeding sensitive area.
... I knew I had just made a very cowardly attack. But what could I do, between life and honor, I had to prioritize my life.
I guessed that the boss was now incapable of fighting. I just needed to go forward and attack its heart and it would be over.
I tried to push my bloody body up. The pain immediately filled my mind without delay. I tried to push the pain away and stood up, slowly walking towards the Minotaurus. Well, I couldn't move fast now...
"Ha...ha...you'll pay for beating me like this"
I breathed heavily and gripped my sword tightly. I stared at the boss's heart area but this time I also paid some attention to its other parts. I couldn't let myself get caught in the same trap twice. There's a saying: No one bathes twice in the same river.
"You...die!"
I activated Convergence and stabbed my sword straight into the boss's heart.
But just as the tip of my sword was about to touch the Minotaurus, its eyes suddenly flashed with a strange light. My body immediately stopped as if all my strength was drained by some mysterious force. I fell to the ground and my mind gradually became hazy.
"Damn...it!"

A gatekeeper was currently sitting idly in front of the Dungeon's gate. He was watching his favorite movie through the projection from the BracePhone on his wrist.
"You're watching that movie again, Peter? What's so good about it that you keep watching it?"
Another gatekeeper came from afar and asked curiously.
"Haha, you have to watch it to know how good it is. What's so fun about it if I tell you?" Peter replied with a cheerful laugh.
"Oh, I don't really like watching movies. You know that." The new gatekeeper just smiled wryly.
"Yeah, I know." Peter said with a smile.
"Sigh. Anyway, you should go home. It's my shift."
His purpose in coming here was to replace the gatekeeper named Peter. A few small talks were just for socializing.
"Okay." Peter paused the movie and stood up from his chair.
Suddenly, the Dungeon's measuring system suddenly went off, causing both of them to turn around in surprise. Their faces quickly turned pale as they realized the meaning of this alarm.
'Demon!'
This type of alarm would only sound when there was a demon's aura in the gate. Because demons could enter the Dungeon through another gate that connected to the Demon World. So the researchers invented this system to notify whenever a demon entered the Dungeon, thereby providing timely measures to rescue the Awakeners in the dungeon.
The only strange thing was that every time this system notified, it would usually be accompanied by a dungeon overload incident because the rank of the demons entering was often higher than the dungeon's level. But the current dungeon still showed no signs of being overloaded.
The two gatekeepers did not understand, but they were not stupid. Not being overloaded did not mean not being dangerous, just having a demon's aura in the dungeon already symbolized imminent danger. They needed to report to their superiors as soon as possible.
Peter quickly contacted his superiors via BracePhone and reported the current incident. Both he and his colleagues were praying that the people inside would be fine.
