Chapter 11 - Chapter 11

Suddenly, Midoriya's heart was like a mirror. Although the tears in his eyes were still flowing, a flame burned in his heart, and this flame went through his whole body.

He suddenly jumped up at his feet and rushed towards the huge machine, his right hand gathered strength, even the clothes were torn apart, but the firm eyes resolutely decided, "I want to lift my spirit and focus my strength, and then shout in my heart…"

"Smash!"

With a sudden punch, the core of the huge machine was instantly cracked, and a cloud of white mist erupted in the air, declaring the power of this punch.

Everyone looked at this scene in shock, and the seemingly timid Midoriya actually broke out such a powerful force in this situation. Is it courage or responsibility?

Midoriya felt like he was going to die during the fall. He had no sensation in his right hand, and was drifting in the wind like a puddle of mud.

Just when he was about to fall to the ground, Uraraka barely caught Midoriya with no gravity.

"Saved…" Midoriya let out a sigh of relief and slumped to the ground. Only then did Uraraka free up energy to remove the heavy objects on her body and stepped forward to care about Midoriya.

In Midoriya's heart, a man reminded him. Looking at the crowd, Akira's back was infinitely magnified. It seemed that this man knew him from the beginning and knew that he would take action from the beginning.

Even if he breaks his hand or his foot, he will stick to what he chooses and never give up.

The practical test is over.

The overall results were announced on the big screen:

First place: Katsuki770

Second place: Kirishima3935

Third place: Uraraka2845

Fourth place: Shiozaki3632

Fifth place: Kendo2540

Ninth place: Tetsutetsu4910

Eleventh place:…

Everyone is talking about this result, the first place Katsuki is undoubtedly the hottest topic, followed by the alternative score of Midoriya.

Some people also talked about Akira, because Akira is from China, so they have a new understanding of Chinese people.

"This player called Akira is very unusual."

In the quiet observation room, Snipe said lightly, which attracted the attention of some teachers.

"What to say, I feel that this Akira's performance is not outstanding; it seems that his shots are very few," Cementoss said with his arms crossed.

"Didn't you find that the locations he went to were very remote, and he gradually approached the center until he got a score of 40 or 50 points? The most important point is that his quirk is very strong!" Snipe analyzed.

"Yes, this kid's quirk seems to be the most overbearing in all elemental systems." At this time, Aizawa said casually, his eyes seemed to be half-squinted forever.

"What quirk?" Midnight asked.

"Thunder attribute quirk; the specific power has yet to be verified." Aizawa's eyes narrowed.

"It's actually a thunder attribute quirk. We don't seem to have heard of this kind of quirk. There seems to be a player named Kaminari. He is just electricity. Isn't it much different from thunder?" There was a little star in the eyes of Midnight, as if looking at him. When it comes to something that interests her, it's normal.

In addition to talking about Akira, Midoriya's quirk is also very curious for all teachers. This powerful power burst type is somewhat similar to All Might, but this type is not rare; it is just a problem of power gap.

...

U.A High School Heroes has an entrance competition rate of over 300 per year. Except for the four recommended places, the normal number of students admitted through the exam is 36, 18 students in a class, and only 2 classes in total.

Akira packed his backpack and came to school. The previous junior high school was just a cutscene. Now he needs to focus all his attention on the Heroes Class A.

Originally, there was a class of 18 people, and according to the truth, there was no Akira's share, but Akira, as a recognized dark horse among teachers, was specifically added to the Heroes subject A class.

For this, Akira was not surprised. The quirk he showed was enough to join the Heroes Class A. As for what the teachers think, that's their business. Akira has never even heard the word 'dark horse.'

However, some students knew something about Akira as a dark horse.

"A-1... A-1... the place is too big…" Akira came not too early and heard Midoriya talking to himself before entering the class.

"You are the one who helped me." Midoriya stopped. He had already seen Akira, and he had also seen Class A.

For Midoriya, the appearance of Akira seems very mysterious. In short, he feels that Akira is very unusual, which belongs to his intuition.

"You're welcome; everyone will be classmates and take care of each other." Akira laughed and patted Midoriya on the shoulder.

Midoriya was a little shy, and when he heard Akira's words, he suddenly said in surprise, "Are you also in Heroes Class A?"

"Yes, it's obvious."

"My name is Midoriya Izuku, please advise me." Midoriya lowered his head and said sincerely.

"It's the same as worshiping the handle. Get up." Akira helped Midoriya's shoulder. He knew it was the respect of the other party, but he was not used to it.

"My name is Akira, and I come from China. No matter what happens in the future, I will be optimistic about you," Akira said seriously.

At this moment, Midoriya felt like Akira knew that he had One·For·All, but it was obvious that the other party could not know. At present, only All Might knew about this in this world.

However, for Akira's encouragement and support, Midoriya was still very moved. After all, he was just a quirk-free person before and was always at the tail of the crane.

His heart desires to be praised and recognized by others. Akira's encouragement is undoubtedly a kind of praise to him. This is a good start.

"Don't need to say thank you; let's go in. All the classmates should be here." Akira patted Midoriya on the shoulder, opened the door first, and walked in.

Midoriya became a little nervous. He didn't want to be in the same class with those strange people.

After Akira entered, he just glanced at the classmates present, then came to the last position of the class by the window to sit down. He has to keep a low profile now; otherwise, a good relationship with these classmates will expose his 2B character.

That would not be cool.

Some classmates also glanced at Akira and wanted to say hello, but seeing Akira seems a little cold and feels embarrassed.

Some people are also quietly discussing Akira as the dark horse.

"Don't put your feet on the desk!" Iida said loudly to Bakugo.

"Huh?" Bakugo grinned.

"Don't you think it's

very disrespectful to do this. The desk represents the dedication of the students who came before us and should be treated with respect," Iida said firmly, gesturing with precision.

Bakugo sneered. "Who cares? What school did you come from, anyway? Acting like one of the extras in the background." He leaned back further, putting even more weight on the desk to show he didn't care.

Midoriya, still by the door, sighed inwardly. So far, everything was just as chaotic as he'd expected. Of all the classmates he'd hoped to avoid, Bakugo was definitely at the top of the list, and it seemed Iida was on a collision course with him already.

Akira, sitting by the window in the back row, quietly observed the room, his expression neutral. As others took note of him, his serious demeanor discouraged some from approaching him immediately, though a few whispered about the "dark horse" who had joined their class. He didn't mind the distance; in fact, it suited him just fine for now. But he kept an eye on the scene unfolding in front of him.

A voice cut through the class's murmurs. "Settle down, everyone."

The entire room turned towards the door, where a tall figure in a yellow sleeping bag was leaning, his tired eyes peeking out. It was Aizawa, their homeroom teacher.

"Welcome to U.A.," Aizawa said dryly. "I'm your homeroom teacher, Aizawa Shouta. Now, put on these gym clothes and meet me outside." He tossed a pile of gym uniforms onto a desk in front. "We're going to see just how strong you all really are."

The class looked at each other, some nervous, some eager. Midoriya's hands trembled slightly as he took the uniform, and Akira simply shrugged, already prepared for what was to come.

Minutes later, they gathered outside on the field. Aizawa held a tablet in one hand as he addressed the class.

"We're doing a Quirk Assessment Test," he announced.

"But... the entrance ceremony!" Uraraka blurted out, wide-eyed. "Aren't we supposed to have an orientation first?"

Aizawa's eyes narrowed slightly. "In the Hero Course, you don't have time for orientation and formalities. Heroes are always at the ready, no matter the circumstance. If you're going to be a pro, you'd better get used to it."

He turned his gaze to Midoriya. "You were last in line with zero combat points. You'll go first."

Midoriya's face paled as he stepped forward, realizing the entire class was watching. His mind raced, remembering All Might's training and the One For All power he'd recently inherited. But he still had so little control over it.

"Do your best," Akira called out quietly. His tone was calm but encouraging, and Midoriya gave a small, determined nod in response.

Aizawa handed him a softball. "Throw it as far as you can. Use your quirk if you want. Just make sure to give it everything you've got."

Midoriya took a deep breath, clutching the ball as he prepared to call forth his power. He held his arm back, summoning One For All into his fingers. In an instant, a spark of energy pulsed through his arm.

"Smash!" he shouted as he hurled the ball with all his might.

The ball flew into the sky, soaring far beyond what he could have achieved without his quirk. Aizawa glanced at the tablet in his hand, displaying the distance: several hundred meters.

The class erupted into murmurs of amazement. Even Bakugo, though he tried to hide it, looked momentarily surprised.

Aizawa's expression remained impassive, but there was a hint of curiosity in his eyes as he recorded the score. "Impressive," he said. "But remember, every exercise in this test will push your quirk to its limits. If you're not giving it your all, you won't survive."

As the assessment continued, each student demonstrated their abilities, with varying levels of success. Bakugo's explosive power and Kirishima's hardening quirk drew attention, while Iida's speed impressed many. Akira observed each of his classmates closely, noting their quirks, strengths, and weaknesses.

Finally, it was Akira's turn.

Aizawa handed him the ball. "Let's see what you can do."

Akira nodded, feeling a familiar surge of energy run through him as he focused his quirk. His hands crackled with a faint blue aura of thunder as he took his stance. With a steady breath, he channeled the power into his throw.

The ball rocketed into the distance, surrounded by a faint crackle of electricity, and vanished far beyond what most of his classmates had achieved. The screen displayed the score, and several students gasped.

Aizawa gave a nod of approval. "Well done."

Akira returned to his spot, keeping his calm demeanor despite the looks of amazement around him. He was no stranger to attention, but it felt different here in U.A., surrounded by other future heroes.

At the end of the assessment, the scores were posted. Akira was somewhere in the middle, his consistent results balanced against the more flashy but unpredictable performances of others. Aizawa reviewed the final rankings, his face unreadable.

"Just so you all understand," Aizawa announced, his voice stern, "the lowest score will be expelled from U.A. Don't let yourselves get too comfortable."

Everyone froze, exchanging tense glances. Midoriya swallowed nervously, while Uraraka's face grew pale. Even Bakugo, usually cocky, looked momentarily taken aback.

Akira remained calm, taking in the seriousness of the test. He wasn't worried about his position; his focus was solely on improving and proving himself here at U.A.

Aizawa continued, "This is U.A. High School. If you're here to be heroes, you need to be prepared for anything."

The students nodded, a renewed determination in their eyes. For Akira, this was just the beginning of a journey that would test not only his strength but his resolve and sense of responsibility as a hero.

The practical test ended, but each student left with the unspoken understanding: they'd have to give their absolute best if they wanted to survive—and thrive—at U.A.
