"Today is our first Flying Class, I am really excited for it"
Elena said while looking in a small notebook in which all the class schedules are written including special classes.
"I am also very eager. There aren't many attributes based classes because only few students can attend them"
'Flying Class' as the name suggests is to learn flying magic and other techniques related to flying, so it's a wind attribute specific class.
Although I have already mastered most of the basic and intermediate wind magics, I really want to see how good other students are, especially the seniors.
Elena is also very good at flying magic. She has been practicing it since I taught her that several years ago.
"Good for you, but there's no other class so I don't know what to do in the free period. I just hope they don't give us some writing assignment"
Ian said with an anxious look. He really doesn't like to sit still in class, well I don't like that either.
"Don't worry, I don't think that will happen. Since the flight class is scheduled for the last period, they may just let you leave earlier"
"Then I can go to the nursery to look after my plant"
Lily added happily. The academy has a nursery for mainly conducting the alchemy class. The students can also research over plants there.
"Can I accompany you?"

Lily seems flustered as she replied to Ian's question.
There's definitely something going on between these two. Are they already secretly dating?

I peeked towards Elena who just finished eating her lunch.
The other day after we came back from the battle arena, I suddenly had a thought after talking with Elena. I also asked for Ian's opinion and he also affirmed that Elena probably has romantic feelings for me.
At first I thought that might just be my over thinking but as we spend more time together everyday, I started to think more and more about that.

*Last Period; Flying Class*
"Good afternoon sir Kai, and also to Lady Elena"
"Good afternoon your highness, nice to see you here"
As soon as Elena and I reached the academy's training ground, we were greeted by princess Kajol who arrived just before us.
The Karnis family of Keshan are known as the world's best wind magic users, and as a member of the Karnis family, she also has a wind attribute.
I realized that Elena moved closer to me when the princess arrived and I also noticed her pouting as the princess and I were talking.

Now I am pretty sure that Elena has romantic feelings for me, but the problem is that I have zero experience in this field.
We are already engaged but I didn't take this engagement seriously in the start but now I feel that I was an idiot. I should have considered that she might have feelings for me.
Honestly I am kind of happy to know that there's a girl that likes me.

The princess said to me as she headed back to her friend Lisa. There are also students from other classes as well as from second and third year.
All these are the students who have either wind attributes or some ability that allows them to fly.
"Oh teacher is here!"
I heard a certain senior student say that as all the fellow students followed his line of sight and we saw a person flying towards us. It is a middle aged lady in her late forties.
"Welcome new students, I am Janet Cupin"
She is the wife of principal Alfred and also the vice principal of this academy. I had heard from my mother that she has been teaching in this academy since even my parents were just students.
"I will take your special class today, older students are already familiar with it. For the new students, I will briefly explain to you about the class..."
"Alright, I hope you understand everything I just said. So for the start of the class let's divide it into those who can already fly and those who can't. The students who can't use any kind of flying skill yet raise their hands"
A few students nervously raised their hands, most of them are first year students. It also includes that Mason guy from the entrance test and Kajol's friend Lisa.
Well Lisa's situation is different since she doesn't even have a wind attribute, though she might be able to fly after some practice with her unique power.
"All of you come forward, and tell me about your respective problem regarding the flying magic. Meanwhile all the other students, make a round of academy campus while flying. Jasmine, you lead them"
The student council president Jasmine Curzon is also here. She is also one of those who can fly without the wind attribute.
"Everyone, follow me"
Jasmine said as she cast magic, her feet left the ground but there aren't high wind movements that you usually see in flying magic because it's not a flying magic of the wind attribute but 'Levitation' magic of Gravity attribute.
Yes, Gravity is the attribute of the Curzon family. It's an attribute comparable to a higher element.
Jasmine flies in the direction of one of the teaching buildings and the other students are naturally following after her by their own abilities.
Most of them are naturally wind magic users like us, but some of them have to use their magic staff to use the magic. Of course, Elena and I don't need that, we just cast the magic normally and fly after her.
We overtook other students, including a student with bird type beast magic and soon reached close to Jasmine. We did not increase our speed further, because it's better not to offend the council president.
Another person also just followed behind us and reached beside us, it is the princess Kajol.
Halfway through, Jasmine increases her speed so do we, as our group get further ahead of other students. There was also another third year male student who kept up with us.

After completing a round of the whole campus, we returned to the academy ground.
Our group which includes me, Elena, Kajol, Jasmine and another third year student, is naturally the first to arrive.
And as we just arrived there, we saw a unique spectacle.
A big bird, a little bigger than an adult human in size is coming out from a magic circle like thing.
"What is going on here!?"
