IN THE CLASS
As Gwenyth entered the class she noticed that her seat was beside Bryce, then she settled beside him. Careena, who was seated across from them, pleaded with Bryce to switch seats.
"Bryce, please switch seats with me!''
Bryce smiled mischievously.
"Sorry, Careena. I can't"
Careena rolled her eyes. Few minutes later Miss Parker entered the class. She was administered to teach Literature.
Then, she began her lecture, the class was engrossed and took their notes furiously.
It was about 20minutes for the class to come to an end when the door swung open, everyone diverted their gaze towards the door.
Eric stroll into the class non chalantly and his piercing gaze drifted to Bryce and Gwenyth, he made an evil smirk before taking his seat at the back of the class.
Then whispers were heard from the girls from every corner of the room:
"Damn, the goddamn cutie is in our class!"
"He hasn't changed a bit!"
"My heart still belongs to him!"
"Sarah, could you believe I dreamt about him. throughout our vacation?"
'' I love his aura''
''He even changed his hairstyle''
''He gets cuter every single millisecond''
Gwenyth rolled her eyes, amused by the commotion.
Miss Parker wrapped up her lecture, and the class concluded. As students packed their bags, Eric remained seated.
As the class emptied, Bryce exited, casting a protective glance at Gwenyth before disappearing into the hallway.
A stunning girl with raven hair and seductive eyes sauntered over to Eric's seat. Her lips curled into a sultry smile.
"Eric, didn't you miss me?" she purred, her voice dripping with sensuality.
She leaned in, her lips inches from Eric's. But he didn't flinch.
Instead, Eric's eyes flashed with disdain. He grasped her wrist, halting her advance.
"Back off, Elyse," Eric growled, his tone icy.
Elyse's smile faltered, her eyes widening.
"You're still playing hard to get, I see," Elyse said, her voice laced with annoyance.
Eric's glare intensified.
"Leave. Now!"
Elyse's face reddened as she jerked her wrist free.
"This isn't over, Eric," Elyse spat, storming off.
Eric's gaze lingered on Elyse's retreating figure before shifting toward the doorway.
Gwenyth, who had lingered to observe the exchange, felt a shiver run down her spine.
Then,Careena appeared behind Gwenyth
"That's Elyse," Careena whispered, "She's had a scorching crush on Eric for ages, but poor girl, he doesn't even notice her."
Gwenyth raised an eyebrow.
"Really? Why not?"
Careena leaned in, a mischievous glint in her eye.
"Rumor has it, Eric's not into girls''
"Let's grab lunch'',Careena said as her stomach grumbled
AT THE CAFETERIA
As Gwenyth and Careena settled into their seats, the cafeteria's lively atmosphere shifted. Eric's entrance was like a sudden storm cloud, casting a dark, mesmerizing aura. The room fell silent, then erupted into squeals and whoops from the female students.
Eric strode confidently, his piercing gaze sweeping the room. He ignored the commotion, heading straight for a table that seemed reserved exclusively for him. The table's elegant setting and precise positioning near the window seemed designed to showcase his stature.
A bespectacled butler, impeccably dressed, emerged from nowhere.
"Welcome, Master Eric," the butler said, his voice low and deferential. "Shall I take your order?"
Gwenyth's eyes widened.
"Wow, this is strange," Careena whispered. "Eric hasn't set foot in this cafeteria for ages. Something's off,I just pray no one falls into his traps today''.
Bryce, seated across the room, watched Eric with an intense gaze.
"Looks like the king has reclaimed his throne," Bryce muttered to his friends.
Careena leaned in.
"That butler, Mr. Jenkins, is Eric's personal attendant. Rumors say he's been loyal to Eric's family for decades."
Gwenyth observed Eric, intrigued.
"What's Eric's story, Careena?" Gwenyth asked.
Careena's voice dropped to a whisper.
"Eric's family founded Episcopal High. They're incredibly influential and still own other companies across the nation
