"Wow! Oh my!...wow!" The entire crew gawked and stared in awe at the outstanding beauty and aura of the woman on the runway. "Good! More confidence..yes...good...more!" The photographer loudly kept on urging. He was extremely excited and all smiles throughout the entire photoshoot. Apart from the fact that he had the chance to work with one of the most popular and influential women in the country, she was also extremely good, and he was having no problems at all.
Her facial expressions, posture, and poses were extremely professional and perfectly executed. "Ah, that's good, that's it for today. Well done, everyone!" He exclaimed cheerfully with a grin from ear to ear.
"Miss Parker! You did great, it was amazing, fantastic, magni-..."
"Where is your director?" Eunice interrupted him with a bored expression on her delicate and beautiful face. "Ah!, yes, he's expecting you in his office. Actually, I can take you there if you would like. The photographer tried is eanest to curry favour with her. "I'm good, thank you." she replied coldly and curtly, and with a slight nod of acknowledgement to him and the rest of the crew members, she walked out of the studio to meet the director...
"Uhm, everyone Miss Parker has generously booked Levi's Restaurant for your lunch today. Please head over and enjoy." This statement made by Miss Parker's secretary Abigail Jenson caused an eruption of cheers from the crew of the photoshoot. After thanking and talking with a few more crew members for a while, Abigail joined her boss in the director's office.
"Oh my! Miss Parker, I must say I'm really impressed by how things turned out." Director Sid exclaimed as he looked through the shots the photographer had sent to him after the shoot.
"Thank you." Eunice replied with a slight smile. "Usually, when young CEOs like yourself... insist on doing things like these themselves, it's almost always a disaster, but this..." Director Sid was full of praise for the young lady. He was very apprehensive when he got a call from his assistant saying that Miss Parker had decided to be the model for the photoshoot herself instead of the usual model. He was even ready to cancel the shoot and didn't want anything to do with the shoot for the ad, but he relented and was prepared to watch a complete train wreck and disaster, the contract for the ad paid a huge deal as well so he decided to let her get on with it however she wanted. But he was silenced completely by Eunice's stunning performance. She was a former actress who had left the acting scene to build one of the largest cosmetic lines abroad. 'Just Beauty Co.' It was making waves and was extremely gaining popularity especially when the new headquarters was moved back to Country C. She had built the company from nothing but blood, sweat, and tears and made it huge just within 5 years. "Miss Parker, how would you like to attend my company's 50th anniversary dinner?"... Director Sid began with all enthusiasm. "My apologies, Director Sid, but I won't be able to..." Eunice hurriedly tried to cut him off. "Now, now, Miss Parker, don't worry, it's just a little gathering with a few other associates, nothing too grand. It would be an honour if you would be my guest." Director Sid urged.
Eunice smiled nervously and fidgeted with her fingers a bit. She let out a soft sigh and nodded after much deliberation. "It would be an honour to attend, Director Sid."
"Haha! Wonderful, I'll send a driver to pick you up tomorrow at 7pm then." He stood up and extended his hand for a handshake. "It's been an honour working with you, Miss Parker." Eunice stood up as well and shook his hand and gave him a slight bow. "Same here, Director Sid."...
..."Eunice, are you sure about this?" Abigail asked on their way back to the company. "No, actually," she replied without a second thought. "Then why did you agree to go? It's not too late to decline his invitation." Abigail insisted. She uncapped a bottle of water and handed it to her best friend and boss. Eunice took a big gulp of the water before replying. "I'll go Abigail, it's about time I start taking more bolder steps. Please inform Henry he'll be my date for tomorrow."
"Sure thing, I hope you know what you're doing though... I really do." She sighed and dialled a number on her phone.
Secretary Sam knocked on the door of the CEO's office, hearing no response he knocked again and then entered. "Sorry to disturb you, Boss, but you've just received an invitation to ABC studio's anniversary celebration... Should I accept or reject it?"
Marcus rubbed his temples and closed his eyes. He slumped lazily in his chair to get a few minutes of rest due to an intense migraine. He was just about to drift off when he heard a knock at the door to his office...
...After a few seconds of silence from his boss, Secretary Sam spoke. "I'll cancel it then, sorry for the disturbance." He bowed and made his way for the door. He was just about stepping out when Marcus finally spoke. "I'll go."
"I'll make the arrangements right away then!" Secretary Sam bowed and left abruptly.
