The battle with the evil spirit king seemed to be heating up. The spiritual energy collisions within the area were growing stronger and stronger.
I was coming across more and more injured Elders and sometimes I even had to dodge the indiscriminate attacks myself.
Occasionally when running around, I would get a clear view of the evil spirit king and the frontlines. Every time I saw it, it would seem a little smaller and sometimes even a little darker.
Streak of lights would charge at and collide with this body, sometimes piercing through. Its misty body would fill in the holes quickly and launch spiritual energy attacks at the lights.
The lights, or the Elders, would dodge the attacks, but on occasion would be hit directly by one of the spiritual energy attacks. They would fall out of the sky, but I'd see them reappear not too long after.
