Chapter 18 - Insane Battle Sense!

Myrith stood at the edge of the stage with her beast before her and sat down without even glancing at her opponent. In that instant, her eyes closed and she immediately linked with her beast.

[Rune-Fanged Rabbit]

[Power: Rank One (Level 2)]

[Rarity: Bronze (Fuse 250 Mystic Hares)]

[Abilities: Arcane Leap (lvl 3), Mystic bite (lvl 3)]

[Weakness: Fragile to Physical Attacks]

[Potential: D Rank]

Looking closely, the beast looked like an evolved version of a rabbit except its face was even more fierce as it stood one and a half meters tall, with fur as pale as moonlight. Its oversized ears twitched at the slightest sound, their inner lining traced with glowing blue runes that pulsed faintly, as though alive with arcane energy.

Its fangs, long and crystalline, jutted from its small, angular snout. Its slender body seem to hide its strength, muscles coiling beneath its fur with every movement. It looked similar to a sexy rabbit female as the stood on the stage with both legs.

From the other side of the stage, seeing Myrith ignore him, Evan's smile froze and his face immediately turned ugly. Was someone from class 3 actually looking down on him? As someone from class 1 he was immediately furious.

"Fucking bitch! I will make you beg for mercy." With that, he also sat down and linked with his beast.

[Ironback Tusker]

[Power: Rank One (Level 2)]

[Rarity: Bronze (Fuse 200 Steelback Boars)]

[Abilities: Iron Hide Aura(lvl 2), Metallic charge(lvl 1)]

[Weakness: Weak to Corrosion-based Attacks]

[Potential: E Rank]

"Roooooar!"

The Ironback Tusker's roar thundered through the entire stadium, shaking the air. The sound was so powerful that visible ripples pulsed outward like concentric waves, distorting the space around it.

As the beast exhaled, hot streams of air hissed from its flared nostrils and massive maw, the heat so intense it made the air shimmer.

The Tusker was a hulking humanoid version of a warthog. Its muscular frame rippled beneath a gleaming obsidian-black hide that looked like it had been forged in the fires of a smithy.

The beast's most terrifying feature, its tusks, were monstrous blades jutting upward from its lower jaw. They shimmered faintly, pulsing with a sharp, metallic glow.

Its back was its most striking feature— armor of iron-like plates ran from the nape of its neck down its spine, forming a protective carapace that looked like tempered, steel.

The plates overlapped like a suit of armor, with impenetrable defense.

"Bang!" "Bang!" "Bang!" "Bang!"

The ground beneath the Ironback Tusker cracked as Evan, now fully merged with the beast, went down on all fours.

His massive paws slammed into the stage, shaking it violently as deep fissures formed beneath his weight. His crimson pupils zeroed in on the Rune-fanged Rabbit with fury.

With a snort that sent another plume of hot air into the atmosphere, Evan wasted no time.

His body tensed, and with an explosive burst of power, he activated Metallic Charge.

"Boom!"

The stage groaned in protest as an immense force erupted.

The sound was deafening, and chunks of debris shot into the air.

Evan moved like a living tank, his massive bulk hurtling forward with the speed of a bullet. The air around him seemed to warp under the pressure of his momentum, creating sharp, sonic booms that cracked like thunderclaps in rapid succession.

Even the surrounding audience was shocked.

"Evan's body has become stronger again. Even someone at the third level will find it difficult to withstand his attack."

"Mythril is still standing there without moving. She's probably already shocked by the power of this charge."

They didn't expect Evan to immediately activate his skill without testing the waters first.

Seeing Evan's actions, some of the envoys nodded, clearly impressed.

In the 3rd,4th and 5th dimensions, although it was better to save one's energy, it was also better to quickly finish one's opponent to avoid unnecessary troubles.

"That kid is a good seed." The envoy from Crown Horn Academy commented to the principal, making the middle-aged Principal smile as he waved his hands and replied curtly.

"That is Evan Hurt, he's an obedient and understanding student. We train our students on different tactics depending on the situation. Since there are still more battles ahead, it's normal for him to want to finish his battle quickly and rest for the next battle."

The Envoys nodded their head in understanding. It seems they have underestimated this town in the past.

On the other side of the stage, Myrith clenched her claws as she felt the immense strength and agility coursing through her veins, even her thoughts became razor-sharp. It was no wonder why most people choose to live in their beast body instead of their human body.

Her pupils constricted as she saw the force the Ironback Tusker was charging at.

His charge was indeed very powerful.

However, that was all.

"Fast, but predictable." She muttered under her breath.

In the blink of an eye, the Ironback Tusker had crossed over fifty meters and appeared before her like a missile.

Myrith suddenly snorted coldly. Her paws stomped heavily at the ground, creating spider-web pattern on the stage as she leapt into the air to evade.

Seeing this, Evan snorted in disdain.

He kicked off the ground, redirecting his charge upward. His massive claws shot out, aiming to grab her by the legs and slam her into the ground.

Myrith simply sneered. Activating Arcane Stomp, the air beneath her feet suddenly compressed condensed as an intense pressure folded the space beneath into solid matter.

"Bang!"

An explosion suddenly rang out as the ground two meters under her feet compressed and shattered due to the pressure.

Myrith step on air as though it was solid ground as she leapt upwards once more, evading Evan's claws by an inch.

Evan's eyes widened slightly as his claws only grabbed air. He couldn't believe Mythril owned a beast with arcane energy ability.

Symbiotes with arcane abilities are even more expensive to purchase than even silver grade beast with physical abilities. It appears Mythril wasn't as simple as she looked.

The resultant force from his jump reached its peak. Gravity then began pushing him downwards as he started falling back to the ground.

Just in that moment, Mythril's body suddenly turned, she flipped herself upside down in the air with her head facing the ground.

In that position, she suddenly stomped her feet heavily in the air.

"Boom!"
