Li Ye's voice boomed over the chaos, his eyes flashing with a hint of glee as he called out to his opponent.
"Come on! Little bug, now who's the little bug?"
In response, a deep, enraged growl erupted from Abomination as he lunged forward. Li Ye sidestepped with ease, grabbing hold of his foe's massive hand. With a deft twist, he sent Abomination sprawling.
"Please… please don't kill me!" Abomination's voice trembled with fear, his bravado now entirely gone.
Li Ye only laughed, tightening his grip on Abomination's skull. "Kill you? You have no idea."
Desperately, Abomination sputtered, "I'm with the military… kill me, and they'll hunt you down!"
Li Ye's response was cold and unyielding. "Go to hell." With one swift, merciless motion, he twisted Abomination's head. A sickening crunch filled the air, and silence followed.
The crowd fell into a stunned hush, a mix of awe and fear evident on every face. In one swift gesture, Li Ye lifted Abomination's lifeless body and tossed it high into the air. His hands glowed with an intense, golden light, a sphere of power forming between them. With a booming laugh, he unleashed a massive energy blast that lit up the entire street as it consumed Abomination's remains, leaving nothing but ashes.
Across the way, General Ross looked on in horror, his face twisted in despair. "That was years of research… gone," he muttered.
Li Ye smirked. The sight of Ross's despair only added to his satisfaction. But before he could savor his victory, a furious roar shook the street.
"Hulk!"
Li Ye turned, eyes narrowing as he spotted Hulk charging toward him. He clenched his fists, ready for more. "You want a piece of me too, big guy? Bring it on!"
Without hesitation, Hulk charged forward, his massive feet cracking the pavement as he ran. Li Ye's eyes gleamed with fierce determination. He steadied his stance and, in a split second, shot two beams of intense light from his eyes, hitting Hulk squarely.
Though Hulk's thick skin withstood the attack, the burning heat of the beams forced him to shield his face with his hands, staggering under the impact.
A cheer erupted from the crowd, a single word chanted over and over, growing louder and louder. "Superman! Superman! Superman!"
Li Ye reveled in their adoration, grinning as he marched toward the Hulk, his fists clenched with unwavering confidence. "Ready for more?" he taunted.
Chapter 3
The street trembled as Li Ye and Hulk collided in a flurry of fists and fury, each punch landing with the force of a cannon blast. The ground quaked beneath them, cars and debris scattered from the impact.
After a moment's reprieve, Hulk's wild eyes focused on Li Ye with renewed rage. With a ground-shaking roar, he lunged forward, but Li Ye anticipated the move, vanishing in a blur. In the blink of an eye, he reappeared behind Hulk, delivering a punch that echoed like thunder, driving Hulk forward.
The two were locked in a fierce duel, Hulk's raw power clashing against Li Ye's unmatched speed and precision. Hulk fought back, but for every blow he threw, Li Ye had a counter, striking with brutal efficiency. Yet, no matter how much force Li Ye exerted, Hulk's unrelenting rage only seemed to grow, his size and strength increasing with each hit.
Realizing that brute force wouldn't end this, Li Ye decided on a different approach. He dashed behind Hulk and, in a single, swift motion, lifted him into the air by his leg, spinning him like a ragdoll before launching him skyward. Hulk howled, arms flailing helplessly as he soared.
With a sly grin, Li Ye gathered debris from the shattered street around him, suspending it in mid-air as if by sheer force of will. Cement, metal, glass—everything within reach rose up and surrounded Hulk, slowly forming a massive sphere, each piece locking Hulk within an unbreakable cocoon of rubble.
The crowd gasped in awe as Li Ye clasped his hands, concentrating with fierce intensity.
"Earth Grasp," he muttered, sealing the sphere. With a flick of his wrist, he hurled the immense structure toward the city outskirts, watching it disappear into the distance.
The street erupted into wild applause. People rushed forward, showering him with praises and calling out his name in adoration.
A beautiful woman pushed through the crowd, her voice soft but clear, "Mr. Superman, are you free tonight? Drinks are on me."
Li Ye chuckled, waving her off with a playful smirk. He'd never experienced anything quite like this—the sheer thrill of being cheered, admired, even worshiped.
As the last of the crowd cleared, a young boy held up a small notebook. "Uncle Superman, can you sign this?"
Li Ye bent down, ruffling the boy's hair before signing his name with a flourish.
From above, a voice called out from a helicopter, piercing the jubilation. "Stop, please! Don't hurt him anymore!"
Li Ye barely glanced up. He didn't know or care who Banner's friends were. Today, he'd established his strength, his dominance.
With one last, triumphant wave to the crowd, Li Ye turned and leapt into the sky, leaving behind a city transformed by awe and terror alike.
