"Yeah, I noticed!" Ryker grunted, pushing against Fenris's weight. But instead of panicking, a spark of inspiration ignited in him. "What if I use my fire differently? Instead of just shooting it, I can turn my fists into fireballs!"
Kaito's eyes widened. "That could work! If you can land some solid hits, it might just throw them off!"

Fenris turned just in time to see Ryker launch himself off the ground, fists ablaze. "What the—?"
"Fire Fist!" Ryker roared, connecting squarely with Fenris's jaw. The impact sent the wolf-human reeling back, his confidence shaken for the first time in the match.
"Nice one!" Kaito cheered, feeling a rush of adrenaline. "Now for my part!"
Kaito raised his hands, summoning a crackling energy around him. "I'm going to create an armor of lightning to shield us and limit Lira's movements!" He focused, feeling the electricity surge through him as it coalesced into a shimmering suit of armor, glowing with raw power. The lightning flickered around him, casting bright flashes across the arena.
Lira's expression shifted from amusement to concern. "You think that can stop me?" she called out, floating higher, preparing to retaliate.

"Gotcha!" Kaito shouted, closing the distance. The lightning armor pulsed with energy, empowering his every move. He leaped forward, tackling Lira mid-air, using the momentum to send them both crashing to the ground.
"Whoa, Kaito!" Ryker exclaimed, seeing Lira struggle to regain her footing. "That was awesome!"
With Lira temporarily grounded, Ryker turned his attention back to Fenris, who was shaking off the effects of Ryker's fiery punch. The wolf-human lunged again, but this time Ryker was ready. He dodged, his fists still enveloped in flames.
"Let's finish this!" Ryker yelled, charging at Fenris with renewed vigor. "Fire Fist Combo!"
Ryker unleashed a flurry of punches, each one igniting with fiery energy. Kaito kept an eye on Lira, who was trying to regain her levitation, but his armor limited her movements. "Don't let up, Ryker! Keep the pressure on!"
With each fiery strike, Ryker pushed Fenris back, the wolf-human staggering under the relentless assault. "You think you can beat me with fire?!" Fenris growled, trying to swipe at Ryker, but each attack missed as Ryker danced around him.

"Now!" Ryker shouted, and together, they approached their fallen opponents. Kaito sent one last surge of energy towards Fenris, creating a barrier that prevented him from rising.
The bell rang, signaling their victory. The crowd erupted into cheers as Kaito and Ryker stood tall, catching their breath and exchanging victorious grins.
"We did it!" Ryker exclaimed, pumping his fist in the air.
"Yeah, we're in the semifinals!" Kaito said, adrenaline still coursing through him.
As they exited the arena, the announcer's voice boomed, naming the semifinalists. "And advancing to the semifinals are: Kaito and Ryker, Fenris and Lira, and the formidable duo of Shiro and Kael—the mysterious students who dispatched their opponents with incredible speed!"
Kaito's heart raced. "Shiro and Kael? They're our next challenge?"
Ryker shrugged, his grin unwavering. "Bring it on! I'm ready for anything."
"Just remember, we'll need to be at our best. They're not going to go easy on us," Kaito warned, excitement mixing with nerves.
"Hey, we've faced worse! Together, we can take on anything!" Ryker said, his fire still burning bright.
