Chapter 1 - Just a Book. right?

News reporter:" the famous actress just now published a book which is really going popular. It has captured the interest of people that all the copies of the book have already been sold out . Let's ask people for some reviews and how much they like the story. "

"Madam what do you think about this book?"

Person 1: "this book is really amazing. The Story is well written . It really is an amazing story with great character development and beautifully narrated"

"At the city book store, there is a huge crowd waiting for their turn to buy a book. Although all copies were sold out, they are not ready to accept this and still waiting in front of the store with a hope to buy it . This book has captured attention of many story readers and going by the popularity of the actress, even the people who doesn't read are also here to buy the book. We will take a short break for now stay tuned for updates right after this"

".....is a nice book"

" Like i said it is a well written book "

"Wow,this book is surely going viral huh! I can't believe this. Its all just because of her popularity and money . That bitch! She bought all of these people and now faking it."

In a bunglow , a man with thin beared sitting on his sofa was changing channels . He was really irritated by how the media is going crazy just because a public figure published a book instead of what she was supposed to do.

"If she has that much of free time to write a book, then why did she rejected my offer? How dare she, this is my insult!! " Mr.patel said.

He had a tone of anger and jealousy in his voice . This old man was in his fifties and was a well known produer and director who offered a project to the ' popularity user just to sell her book' actress but was rejected. At least she doesn't take offers from men with less hair on head and no self respect or even respect to speak of. haha.

But atleast the media got a topic for the news channel because there seems to be no new and interesting topics that can catch viewers attention . Even if it's lame and they are just debating on a very stupid topic that is the story written by her even good or not or if this is equally interesting as Harry Potter which is very stupid if you ask me.there are many amazing works by many authors but they all go unnoticed like this one is gonna be because they are not popular like i am not.

But that seriously, the media really couldn't find any hot or interesting topics to show except that the biggest gangster, who used to rule the underworld of 12 countries, has died in a car accident. Pretty lame right? That's why I say follow the rules while driving and do not use phone . But it was still unclear how she died so some channels which didn't get any TRP were debating whether she died in a gang fight or was she careless. But nobody had time to watch this kind of news or to think would the world be changed after her death or the no. Of crimes will decrease or not , because their favourite actress has just published a book and they simped so hard on her that they were ready to buy as many copies as they could until they go bankrupt.

As Mr. Patel flipped off the TV, he scrolled through his phone, smirking at the absurd headlines:

• New Signing Frenzy: Actress's Novel Sells Out!

• Car Crash Kills Gangster Queen: Police Investigate Foul Play

Just then, his phone rang from an unknown number. He answered, and a low voice hissed, "You think she's dead? Stop grinning like a fool. The police haven't even found her body. It's like she vanished. They've searched the whole area, even the lake. If she's still alive, she'll come for us. Get moving and call your men. Now."

Mr. Patel's grin faded. She wasn't dead? How was that possible? Before his last two brain cells could argue, he called the hitmen who were hired for her "accident."

"Relax, old man," one of them sneered. "She's dead. We made sure of it—broke her leg, dumped her in the lake. Even if the police couldn't find her, no one could've survived that."

A short pause, then the hitman continued, "But you'd better pay us double. We lost two men on this job. She wasn't easy to handle."

Mr. Patel hung up before the hitman could finish. Double? Like he'd pay a single rupee more. He chuckled, convinced it was over. She was gone—at least, that's what he told himself as he slumped back into his chair, his confidence only slightly rattled.

But somewhere, deep down, an uneasy thought lingered: if she wasn't dead, what then?
