As soon as Alex realized the problem, he understood that killing the servants had alerted their master, who had now directed their coordinates to the archers. This was a serious issue. He stopped and changed his path.
"Stick to the plan. I'll distract them," Alex called out to Henry and the others, moving in a different direction. The spinning blood blades around him were tearing apart anything within a ten-meter radius. In mere moments, he had slain dozens of stone monsters and archers.
Henry and the others continued forward, avoiding most enemies. This was only successful because the majority of the enemy's attention was focused on Alex. When they reached within fifty meters of their target, an intense aura struck them, sending chills through their veins.
Two of the blood angels vanished instantly and reappeared in front of and behind them. Each angel stood four meters tall with massive wings and armor that covered every inch of their bodies. They each held swords three meters long, glinting with deadly intent.
The angel ahead swung his sword down with terrifying force, as if divine retribution was falling upon them. Henry stepped forward, shouting, "The chamber... the sealed space!"
The massive blade froze half a meter from Henry's head, though beads of sweat trickled down his face. Unlike before, the sword didn't halt as easily as the arrows; Henry couldn't maintain control over it for long and quickly retreated, canceling his power just as the sword crashed into the ground, leaving a half-meter-deep crater with a two-meter diameter.
Henry was genuinely frightened. An attack like that would have been fatal. The angel raised his sword again and rushed toward Henry with astonishing speed, especially given its size.
On the other side, another angel was lunging at Mike with fearsome force. Though clad in his shining platinum armor, standing at two and a half meters, Mike appeared dwarfed by this winged monster. He didn't dare block the blow directly, as he had before, so he created a small shield with his left hand to intercept the thrust. The clash of the blood sword and Mike's shield sent a shockwave echoing through the room, forcing Mike back ten steps from the impact.
Terry finally made his move. He had been staying hidden behind Henry or Mike, but after the blood angel's attack was repelled, he seized the fleeting moment. Placing his hand on the ground, he yelled, "I can control the earth!"
Suddenly, the floor beneath the blood angel shifted, becoming like quicksand, pulling the angel down. The creature struggled with all its might to escape, but the more it fought, the deeper it sank. Terry was panting heavily, blood flowing from his eyes and hand. Controlling a being of this power level was pushing him to his absolute limits.
"Mike, now! Finish it!" Terry shouted with all his strength. Mike, who had disappeared into the mist, reappeared behind the trapped angel. His hand had transformed into a massive metal ball, and he launched a strike with all his might at the angel's head. Realizing the danger behind him, the blood angel turned with surprising agility and swung his sword towards Mike's head. But Mike didn't hesitate for even a moment, charging forward with relentless determination in what had now become a clash of life or death.
Suddenly, the fog around the blood angel's sword thickened rapidly, transforming into cloud-like vapor that encased the blade, trapping it completely. Everything happened in an instant, leaving the blood angel unable to react as Mike's hammer crushed its head to pieces.
With its head shattered, the angel collapsed, and Terry fell to the ground with it, exhausted. Holding the creature down had drained him greatly; he could feel every bone in his hand shattered, his vision blurry, and a pounding headache splitting his skull.
