Before they found themselves facing off against flexing eagles, prowling T. rex, and ancient, glowing artifacts, our trio lived in a world that might feel all too familiar to you, dear reader. You see, Alaric, Ragna, and Saputora were just regular high schoolers with an extraordinary knack for stumbling into the bizarre — and sometimes for wishing life was, well, more interesting.
Alaric, our reluctant hero, was the kind of guy who tried to live each day under the radar. Introverted and quietly observant, he often felt like he was floating through a life that seemed... monotonous. He spent his days at school with the same old routines and his nights flipping through fantasy novels, wondering if he was missing something. He had always felt like there was something more to life, something just beyond the veil of his usual day-to-day.
Ragna, on the other hand, was a force of nature. This was a guy who could walk into a quiet library and turn it into a party just by existing. Loud, proud, and equipped with an ego big enough to start a fan club, Ragna was the life of every room he entered. He was always coming up with wild theories about life, love, and, especially, history. He had this intense belief that the world used to be far more magical, far more thrilling than anyone dared to remember. Ragna was convinced that somewhere out there, maybe buried in ancient ruins or hidden in dusty old books, lay the truth about strange creatures, magic, and all sorts of fantastical wonders.
Then there was Saputora, the president of the science club and the group's unofficial "brain." He was the guy who brought logic and facts into every wild claim that Ragna threw out there. Saputora was known around school as the genius who could ace any test and was rumored to have disappeared one day after a science fair, only to reappear hours later with no memory of what had happened. (Little did he know that this was a foreshadowing of far stranger adventures to come.)
These three were bound together by a shared yearning for something more than just grades, tests, and predictable weekends. Together, they would escape to their favorite hangout spot: a worn-down warung, where the air was filled with the scent of spicy noodles, the laughter of friends, and, often, the wildest conversations you could imagine. On one particular day — a day that would forever change their lives — they were discussing Ragna's latest theory on ancient civilizations and magical creatures over steaming plates of nasi goreng. It was an ordinary day… or so they thought.
So, why did they get transported back in time, you ask? Well, dear reader, even the author can't say for sure. Maybe the universe has a quirky sense of humor. Or perhaps there's some ancient magic — a remnant of the time when dinosaurs roamed and mysteries were a part of daily life — that occasionally pulls curious souls out of their mundane existence and thrusts them into something extraordinary. Sometimes, when you wish hard enough for adventure, the universe answers… just not in the way you'd expect.
Whatever the reason, Alaric, Ragna, and Saputora were given what they'd always secretly longed for: a world of mystery, danger, and excitement. Of course, whether they would survive it was a different question entirely.
