The sun was setting behind the mansion, casting a warm glow over the garden.
I sat on the old bench, taking a sip from my cup of tea in my hand. It had been a week since I was transferred to this world, and I had somehow gotten used to my new body.
The mansion may have been small, but it was enough for the villain and a few workers to live in.
And now that I lived here alone, it felt quite big.
The garden, however, was overgrown, giving the mansion a haunted appearance.
I sighed, realizing that I needed to learn how to take care of it.
So far, nothing had been out of place except for the fact that the villain had been living here since birth, but no one had ever bothered to check on him.
The only contact with the outside world was a magical portal that delivered food and supplies once a month.
I had lived alone in my past life and knew how to cook, so it wasn't a big deal.
And has for the reason why the villain lived alone that much was unclear but from the story i have read most of it has to do with his mother.
His mother, who also knows Vanessa, was once a noble lady from a small noble family.
She was known for her beauty that made any man drool with just a single glance.
But one night, at a grand ball, she met the Duke of the Astron. He was a great man, with wealth and fame, and had a talent for sword and magic.
Vanessa fell hard for him and made him her target. However, the Duke had his eyes set on another woman, Aimi, a beautiful noble girl.
Aimi also had feelings for the Duke, and their love was blossoming.
But Vanessa, out of jealousy, tried to drug the Duke and slept with him, hoping to get pregnant and force him to marry her, or become his mistress. But her plan failed, and the Duke remained in love with Aimi.
Vanessa, using her pregnancy, tried to get his attention, but he paid her no mind. The Duke made sure that Vanessa lived separately from him in an old mansion far from the palace, with some maidens and butlers, to ease his wife's worries.
When the villain, Vanessa's child, was finally born, she blamed him for everything. She believed that if it weren't for him, the Duke would have loved her. She mentally abused the child, constantly reminding him of how he ruined her chances with the Duke.
But when the villain turned nine, Vanessa died, leaving the young boy all alone in the empty mansion. And as for the Duke, he didn't care any less about the villain, for he was not his son and held no significance in his life.
The villain grew up in the mansion, with only the memories of his mother's hatred.
'That's how much i remember of the story, but it was still unclear to why they will let him stay her all bye himself'
There were a lot of plot holes in the story, and the villain and his mother being forgotten was probably do to the Arthur just simply didn't care any less about them.
The young villain lives at the empty mansion till the plot starts, where he plays his role as a villain again.
'all the people who work at the mansion quite there jobe do to the villain tantrums'
*Sigh
"I need a plan to escape the plot, since the villain has been leaving here all his life I don't have to worry about me OOC"
Right, all that matters to me is to live my life to the fullest, in this new world. Even if I become a villain that will not stop me.
"But the real deal starts when i turn 17, that's when the academia arc starts" all I have to do is just attend the school and be invisible, once I get out of there I will find a new house in a small town and leave a lazy life.
The villain now is 12 and I have about 5 years before the main plot starts, bye now the protagonist must already be at the holy Palace doing is main character stuff.
"Well before all that I need to clean this place , it looks like a mess".
