Chapter 5 - Strange Feelings

"Did you see who this is to you?"Manna asked me as her keen gaze made me feel goosebumps all over my body.

I took a deep breath as I tried to calm myself. From the position in which I had already found myself, I looked around as I spotted every other close person who had always been in my life.

The more I tried remembering any of the incidents of that day, the more my head screamed in terror as I tried adjusting myself.

"Manna, honestly, I can't remember anything that happened that day. I just don't know. I felt so struck, then I stumbled and felt that was all." I spoke out of complete honesty as Manna stared right at me.

"Matters shouldn't be taken lightly; I disapprove of anything like that being taken with complete levity," Liam growled, and for a minute or two, I felt like everything he had just said was out of complete honesty. He meant every word that proceeded out of his mouth. Little did I know that there was more drama installed for me.

"The alpha should be informed about it immediately," Xenia suggested with a high level of accuracy without sparing me a glance.

"No, no, I don't think it's that necessary; Alpha Muller doesn't need to know about this." Xenia was about to talk once again when the door swung open, distracting everyone.

"Why shouldn't I?" Alpha Muller's deep baritone voice succeeded through the room as he kept eye contact with me. I bowed my head while trying to avoid the gaze of my father.

"Alpha Muller, I think we must find the culprit as fast as possible.

No one dares to attack the Xaomi kingdom, not to mention the princess. There must be something wrong somewhere.

"Princess, did you fight with anyone? Xenia asked softly. I nodded my head in response while looking innocently.

"Xenia I told you it isn't necessary; you don't need to worry about anything; it's fine," I said while trying to give them the feeling of assurance; however, everyone ignored my words like I was some kind of ghost.

I took a deep breath in as they made decisions without asking for my opinion; it was like my opinion didn't matter, and honestly, I guess it didn't.

"Baby, I will catch you later," Liam said as he placed a soft kiss on my chin. I felt an immediate inconvenience. It wasn't really easy pretending to be in love with someone who wasn't your mate.

Pretending like he was only sending goosebumps down my spine.

Anytime Liam was close to me, I felt a sense of sudden danger. I felt we had a past connection, something that links us together rather than the presence in which we abide.

I feel there is a story to tell; however, each night as I close my eyes, all I can see is the man called Liam, who I know nothing about except for who he is and then his identity.

"Pls, can everyone leave my room? I need to take a nap," I politely requested as they all left to obey my orders.

What did you expect, that they did say no? That's why I was the wolf princess; my orders are to be carried out with high clarity.

As I lay on my bed, the feeling that surrounded me was that of the unknown; darkness engulfed me as I closed my eyes.

"I'm sorry, master," an earful voice said as it trembled. All that could be heard was the rumbling of the loud noises of thunder and lightning.

"Don't tell me you are sorry; you don't even act like you are," a deep voice said as he cleared his throat while pacing around the room. A dim light rated through the room as his Dak shadows were cast on the wall.

A sharp sound echoed through the room as the young man, who was formerly on his knees, fell flatly to the floor.

"If I hear the words sorry once again", I promise I'm going to show you the other side of me that you wouldn't like" the deep voice growled once again, and he could hear his inner wolf growl in excitement of whatever was happening.

"Spare me. I promise that such mistakes won't occur in the future. Please spare me, master," the young man begged as he looked spitefully at the figure before him.

"Good," the man who appeared to be his master said as he looked very satisfied with whatever he had done.

"Next time when I send you on delicate errands, you won't learn to flop. I didn't send you to go and kill her, the man said harshly as he walked away from his presence.

The evening continued with heavy raindrops and loud thunderstorms, loud and heavy enough to crash up a building. It was just that one thing was sure and correct.

"Who was that man and what was his identity? "Could he be connected to the strange fe

eling that had been happening recently .?.
