Chapter 6 - chapter 6

Today, Ronit brought his VR helmet in his school bag. Laddu was very worried about Ronit, so he asked how he was doing but Ronit assured him everything was fine. Classes started and soon the school day ended. After school Nikhil beat Ronit in the boxing ring again and than left. Only Laddu and Ronit were left there. Laddu couldn't bear to see Ronit getting beaten up every day and suggested complaining to the teacher, but Ronit refused and told Laddu to go home, saying he would stay a little longer and then go home.

At first Laddu didn't agree but after Ronit insist he left. Ronit rested for a while and then put on the VR helmet, asking Lucy to start the shadow practice. A boxer appeared in front of him again. This time the practice was happening in a real boxing ring, so everything was set. Lucy started the fight and the virtual boxer began fighting Ronit. Two rounds had passed and Lucy informed Ronit that he had taken many hits during defense and his stamina was about to run out.

Ronit was breathing heavily. It wasn't as easy as he had thought, but he couldn't give up. Then Lucy said, "Master you need to improve your stamina and the best exercise for that is running." Ronit knew this much and decided to increase his stamina along with practice. He thought he would go running every morning and practice after school.

The next day Ronit woke up at 5 AM and went to running. He had only been running for a short while, but he was breathing heavily as if he had run 20 kilometers, even though he hadn't completed even one kilometer. But he doesn't quite and Somehow he managed to run 3 kilometers and then went to school. Laddu asked Ronit about his health but Ronit gave the same answer, After school Nikhil beat Ronit in the boxing ring again, and Ronit sent Laddu home and did shadow practice again.

Now it had been 10 days of this routine, and Ronit had improved a lot. He could now practice boxing for 5 rounds, and he wasn't getting hit anymore. His defense had improved significantly. He felt very happy about this, but on the other hand, Laddu's worry for Ronit was increasing day by day. Laddu couldn't support his friend, but Ronit had no idea that Laddu was feeling very guilty for not being able to help his friend.

Ronit reached school after his morning run and sat in his seat. He looked at Laddu, who seemed very sad. Ronit asked why, but Laddu didn't say much and just said one thing that Nikhil wouldn't bother him anymore after today. Hearing this Ronit was surprised and asked what he meant, saying he didn't understand. Laddu replied that Ronit didn't need to understand anything and that he would handle everything. This made Ronit a bit nervous, and he asked Laddu again, but Laddu didn't explain. Ronit then said, "Look, don't worry, I'm perfectly fine, and you shouldn't do anything because you know how dangerous Nikhil is." Laddu just said "okay" and ended the conversation.

Ronit found Laddu's behavior a bit strange, but class startedso he couldn't talk much. After school Ronit looked for Laddu everywhere but couldn't find him, so he went to Nikhil alone. Nikhil was waiting for Ronit and angrily asked where he had been, saying he had been waiting for a long time. Ronit apologized and said he was late because he was using the washroom.

Ronit put on his head guard and entered the boxing ring. Nikhil first used a jab then a left hook and then a right uppercut, all these boxing moves which made Ronit fall to the ground. Although his 10 days of practice Ronit could read and block Nikhil's every move, but he didn't do it because he was still scared of Nikhil. No matter how much he practiced and became physically strong, he couldn't mentally overcome Nikhil and couldn't get rid of his fear.

Suddenly a voice asked, "What's going on here?" Everyone looked in the direction of the voice and saw Laddu standing with a teacher, who had asked the question. Seeing the teacher, everyone got scared and started saying they were just practicing boxing. But the teacher said it looked like something else. Nikhil said, "No, teacher you can ask Ronit. He himself said he wanted to learn boxing and I was just teaching him some moves."

Nikhil looked at Ronit and said, "Tell them Ronit you said it yourself." Ronit looked at the teacher and Laddu, and he now understood what Laddu meant in the morning. The teacher asked Ronit again what was happening. Ronit looked at Nikhil who was glaring at him angrily, reminding Ronit of his first day of beating. So he told the teacher that he had indeed asked Nikhil to practice. The teacher told Ronit not to be afraid and to tell the truth, but Ronit insisted he was telling the truth.

Hearing this the teacher looked angrily at Laddu and told him to come along. The teacher also told Nikhil and Ronit that practice was not allowed after school, so they should leave too. Laddu with a sad face went with the teacher, while Ronit stood there feeling very sad and guilty. He knew Laddu had done all this to help him, but now because of him, Laddu was in Nikhil's crosshairs. Ronit wondered what Nikhil would do to Laddu now.
