Lenora's POV:
Wrapping my cloak a little more tightly around myself, the cold night breeze biting terribly at my skin, I walked briskly.
He'd asked me to meet him here for "a reward". I know deciding to come would be considered a very stupid decision on my part but then, I mean… what if it was something I'd consider satisfying?? Maybe I was getting a little greedy, but at this point, I didn't care. I was already in this, better to see it through.
He'd asked me to meet him at the old mill on the outskirts of town. A mill that had been abandoned for decades was also a very good location to murder someone and dispose of the body. Said someone, me.
I shook my head, trying to clear all the negative thoughts, I had to think positively. Besides, if he wanted to kill me, he probably would already, now wouldn't he? There was nothing to fear, I told myself.
