Mark's POV:
Heading quietly towards the secret chamber where I usually met with the others, blending into the shadows, was way easier to do today than before, way too easy. I found it a little too strange.
Almost at the chamber, I heard noises.. screams.. no wait, that's the voice of a woman.. moaning? You've got to be kidding me! Are they trying to get us caught? Couldn't they be a little quieter?
At this rate, the whole castle would be able to hear them.
At first, I thought about staying outside the door, giving them more time and space instead of ruining my eyes but then.. there was no time, plus anybody could pass by any minute now, and everything would be all up all the planning; everything would be up in flames; I couldn't let that happen. I've come too far, there was too much at stake.
