Chapter 8 - Chapter 8: I can't get used to it.

In the morning, the alarm clock on his phone rang. Willy woke up and immediately turned it off. Tim was sleeping peacefully. Willy pushed the hair from his forehead and kissed him carefully. Tim opened his eyes and felt ashamed when he saw Willy. He lowered his head and placed it on his chest.

Willy: "Good morning. Get ready, we have to go."

Tim: "Good morning. I'll start getting ready in 5 minutes."

Tim hugged Willy and didn't want to let him go.

Now he remembered that they were watching a movie yesterday and he didn't remember how he ended up here.

Tim: "How did I get here?"

Willy: "What do you think?!"

Yesterday, when Tim fell asleep, Willy carefully picked him up and carried him into the bedroom. He carefully laid him on the bed and took off his shoes. When he was about to leave, Tim stopped him. It seemed like he instinctively held his hand because he was still asleep.

Willy: "I'm here. I'm not going anywhere."

Tim didn't answer anything and continued to sleep peacefully. Willy didn't want to wake him up. If he left now, he knew Tim would wake up. He carefully lay down next to him.

Tim: "We couldn't watch the movie yesterday, sorry."

Willy: "It's okay, let's watch it another time."

Tim: "I don't think so."

Willy didn't understand why Tim was saying that.

Willy: "Why do you say that?"

Tim: "When I'm with you, I feel calm and safe, I think that's why I fall asleep so quickly. I think I'll fall asleep easily next time too, and we won't be able to watch a movie."

Willy's heart began to beat faster. Tim's words made him happy.

Willy: "Wake up, we have to go."

Tim: "5 more minutes."

Willy: "You already told me and 5 minutes have passed."

Tim: "You know what superpower I wish I had?"

It was an unexpected question, but Willy knew why Tim was acting like that.

Willy: "Time travel?"

Tim: "No, but you're close. Time control."

Willy: "Why? You'll be able to sleep longer then."

Tim: "No, I want this moment to last forever. When else will I have the chance to wake up to your kiss in the morning and hug you for 5 minutes?"

Willy: "Maybe you'll wake up like this every day in the future."

Tim hugged Willy even tighter.

Tim: "Maybe we should stay here and not go to the competition."

Willy: "We have to go, we have no other choice."

Tim was sulking. Willy started getting ready, while Tim was still lying in bed, not planning on going to the airport. Willy knew what to do. He leaned into him and kissed him. Tim couldn't say anything. His eyes were shining with happiness. Tim broke off the kiss and he whispered in Willy's ear.

Tim: "Now I don't want to leave even more."

Willy: "If we go to the competition together, I'll kiss you again."

As soon as Tim heard these words, he immediately began to prepare. Willy leaned against the door and watched Tim run back and forth.

Willy: "Let's go with you and get your luggage."

Tim: "In my apartment? I have my passport with me and I don't need anything else."

Willy: "Aren't you going to change your clothes?"

Tim: "You forgot that we're going to the country where I grew up and I have everything I need there."

Willy: "Aren't you going to change now? You slept in these clothes and now you're going to go to the airport?"

Tim: "Then I'll borrow your clothes."

Willy: "I don't think…"

Tim didn't even let Willy finish his sentence and immediately started looking for clothes. Soon there was a large pile of clothes on the bed.

Willy: "What are you doing? It's going to take a few hours to sort this out."

Tim: "That's great, we won't be able to leave in time."

Willy realized that Tim didn't want to go for some reason, but it was his idea.

Willy: "What's going on? You've been trying to get us to stay here ever since you woke up."

Tim: "Who told you I didn't want to go? It's not my fault you don't have clothes."

Willy: "It was your idea to go together, but now you've changed your mind for some reason. Tell me what's going on and maybe I'll change my mind about going too."

Tim was quiet. It seemed like he was having trouble speaking.

Tim: "I'll clean up the mess I made. It won't take me 10 minutes. Wait for me downstairs and let's go."

Tim was looking away. He was trying not to answer Willy's question. Willy came over to him and held his hands.

Willy: "Don't avoid my question. Tell me what's going on. You told me you trust me."

Tim hesitated again.

Tim: "You might think it's a childish reason, but I hate that country…"

Willy was shocked, he didn't expect such an answer. Tim had gone to see his parents a few days ago. What happened to make him change like this?

Tim: "I have dual citizenship, but I don't feel comfortable in either one. Even though I have a home in both places, neither feels like my home. I know how much this championship means to you, that's why I'm coming with you."

Willy hugged him and patted his head. He said quietly.

Willy: "Why didn't you tell me from the beginning? I'll call the rector and cancel everything."

Tim: "No, we have to go. I'll do anything for you."

Willy: "Remember what you told me yesterday? You shouldn't do anything you don't want to do. I'll call the university right now."

Willy started to look for his phone, but Tim stopped him.

Tim: "No, we're going. I may hate it there, but I love you and as long as you're by my side, I can do anything."

Willy's heart felt warm. He hugged Tim and kissed him on the forehead.

Willy: "I promise I'll be by your side. Now get ready and let's go. If you change your mind or feel uncomfortable, let me know right away."

Tim picked a shirt and pants from the pile of clothes and went into the bathroom to change. Willy began to sort his clothes.

Tim came out of the bathroom. Willy couldn't take his eyes off him. The shirt was so small that it was tight on his body and accentuated his figure even more. Tim noticed how Willy was looking at him and began to straighten his clothes to get even more attention.

Tim: "Can't you take your eyes off me?"

Willy lost the ability to speak.

Tim: "I know you're only thinking about me right now, but we're going to be late for the airport."

Willy came to his senses.

Willy: "You're right. Let's have breakfast first."

Tim: "Are you hungry? What do you want to eat? Me?"

Tim flirted with him at every opportunity. Willy thought he would never get used to this.

Tim: "Okay, I'll stop this or we'll really be late."

Tim took Willy's hand and they went into the kitchen. Tim opened the refrigerator and looked at what he could prepare.

Tim: "What about a sandwich?"

Willy: "That would be great. I'll help you."

Tim: "No need. It's my duty to take care of you."

Willy returned to his seat because there was no point in arguing. He was watching Tim making sandwiches. His friends often visited, but with Tim there was a different atmosphere in the house. Willy wasn't used to this, because he always took care of others. This was the first time someone else had taken care of him.

Tim: "This is your sandwich."

Willy: "Thank you, it looks delicious."

It was really delicious.

Tim: "Is it so delicious that you would consider marrying me?"

Willy started coughing because he almost choked.

Willy: "Maybe."

Tim knew Willy had followed him into the game, but he wasn't going to let this opportunity pass him by.

Tim: "Oh, then I'll try again tomorrow. I'm sure you'll say "yes" tomorrow."

Willy: "Stop joking. Why do you want to get married so badly? You're still young."

Tim: "So what if I'm young? I'm sure you're my soulmate. I want to spend the rest of my life with you. My whole life I thought I didn't deserve happiness and love until I met you. I don't want to waste time. I've suffered enough, and now I want to be happy with you."

Willy: "I understand you, but I haven't agreed to be your boyfriend yet and you're already planning our wedding."

Tim: "Your words don't match your actions."

Tim didn't say anything else and immediately walked out. Willy started clearing the table. If he had followed Tim now, he knew they would have argued even more. Tim was walking around the yard. Willy came out a moment later with a suitcase. He put it in the trunk and was ready to go.

Willy: "It's time to go."

Tim didn't answer. He got into the car and fastened his seat belt. No one spoke the entire way. After arriving at the airport, Tim took Willy's suitcase out of the trunk. His action was a sign of 'I'm angry, but I still care about you'. When they entered the airport, everyone was looking at Tim. He already stood out from everyone because of his height, but today he looked even more amazing because of his outfit. Willy seemed jealous.

Willy broke the silence.

Willy: "There's still time. Let's wait here."

Tim followed without a word. They sat in silence for a while. Willy felt uncomfortable.

Willy: "We need to talk."

Tim: "Okay, but not here."

Willy: "Then where?"

Tim: "I don't know, but not here, because everyone will understand what we're talking about."

Willy: "Okay, let's talk about this after we get to the hotel, but let's talk about something else, because I feel uncomfortable. I don't want to spend another few hours in silence."

Tim felt uncomfortable too. He was used to being alone, but he didn't enjoy being angry with Willy. Tim took his phone out of his pocket and was typing something. Willy received a message on his phone.

Tim: "Sorry, it was my fault. I shouldn't have been angry with you. I know I'm in a hurry, but I want to spend more time with you. I want to wake up next to you every morning. I love you and no matter how long it takes, I will wait for you. I will do everything to become your boyfriend. I invite you for dinner and a walk in the evening."

Willy felt guilty because Tim did everything for him. No one has ever taken such good care of him. Tim was right. Willy started typing his reply.

Willy: "No need to apologize. What you said was true. I'm afraid to express my feelings. I don't even dare to say that I love you. I still can't get used to this. Thank you for taking such good care of me. I accept your invitation."

Tim was happy after reading the message. The awkwardness between them disappeared.

Tim received another message.

Unknown number: "I heard that you are returning to your country. You made a good decision. If you want to live, never come back here again. Your father saved you once, and he can't save you a second time."

Tim wanted to delete the message, but changed his mind.

Tim: "Stop sending me threats. You are neither the first nor the last person to want to kill me. Get in line, it's not your turn yet. Since you know my schedule so well, you can meet me whenever you want. If you think I'm afraid of you, you're very wrong. I think you're afraid, because you are hiding. If you want to say something, say it to my face.

Oh, I completely forgot to say that, I know very well who you are."

Tim sent the message and then immediately deleted it so no one would see it.
