Chapter 119 - C115(3)

'No way?'

His face showed astonishment. The possibility that was becoming reality—or perhaps had already become reality—stirred deep emotional waves in his heart.

You see, Eddie was also a fan of DC Comics and had followed their entire catalog of works. Batman, Superman, Arrow, Flash, Constantine, Wonder Woman... he'd read them all.

Although some of the characters didn't appeal to him as much, it didn't mean he was unfamiliar with any of them. After all, he was a fan of the brand.

But what he hadn't expected today was that, like a fantasy becoming reality, the Arrow from the comics was now standing before him, delivering the iconic line that every Arrow fan knows.

And now he wondered: Will Superman, Flash, or even Cyborg appear next?

Speaking of which, Cyborg had been DC's most popular superhero recently, aside from Batman.

Even Green Arrow, standing before him now, wasn't as popular as him, especially in the Black community.

In the quiet environment, aside from Eddie, others also overheard Green Arrow's words.

Someone, gazing at the green-clad figure, took a sharp breath.

"Green Arrow!"

They recognized him too.

The famous line just delivered was unforgettable.

Among the DC fanbase, nearly everyone knows Green Arrow, the superhero who's similar to Batman.

And of course, the famous quote that followed.

Many people still argue that Arrow doesn't rely on strength, but on charisma—just by delivering that line, he could rival Batman's fame.

Now, seeing the man in the green suit in front of them, they began to connect the dots.

They snapped back to reality, stunned.

Thoughts of DC's IP works and virtual superheroes flooded their minds. Batman, one of the most popular U.S. superheroes, was a brand all reporters knew.

And considering Batman's copyright, they were well aware that the character existed before Anton even made his Batman films.

After Anton cleared up the rumors, people started to believe that Batman was a superhero portrayed in a role-playing manner.

Now, another Green Arrow had appeared—also seemingly role-playing the character.

With so many DC heroes, were they all destined to appear in this world, one by one?

The crowd buzzed with excitement.

For a moment, they forgot about the tense situation they were in.

"Let's live up to this city?"

When Otto heard Green Arrow's words, uncontrollable rage surged through him, spreading to every corner of his being.

Whoosh, whoosh!

The mechanical arms behind Otto swung together, attacking the Green Arrow, who was not far away, like a storm.

The Green Arrow withdrew, drawing one arrow after another from the quiver on his back. The arrows collided with the mechanical tentacles at an incredible speed.

Clang, clang, clang! Boom!

The explosive arrow didn't cause any damage to the mechanical tentacles, and the fishing net arrow couldn't restrain them either.

Even when Green Arrow replaced his arrows with acid and rust arrows, the mechanical arms were unaffected.

Arrow clone was secretly alarmed.

With all the memories of Anton, he looked closely at the outer shell of the robotic arm and sensed something was wrong.

'Could it be vibranium?' Thoughts flashed through his mind.

It wasn't unusual for Stark Industries to procure rare materials from outside sources.

The battle continued. Otto couldn't catch the Arrow, and the Arrow couldn't land a blow on Otto.

The intelligence of the robotic arms was indeed extraordinary.

Each of the "palms" on the four mechanical arms had a camera that could track the direction of the arrows at all times. No matter the angle, the Arrow couldn't escape their sight.

"It looks like that guy is having a hard time catching Otto!"

Not far away, Anton and Tony watched the battle with interest.

The reporters recorded the entire sequence, admiring the magnificent fight and hoping it would continue for a while.

Unfortunately, Otto was growing impatient.

He gritted his teeth and closed in on the Arrow. As he reduced the distance, a cruel smile spread across his face.

"I'm going to tear you apart soon!"

His voice echoed.

Seeing the man in front of him, Otto remained unfazed, no trace of nervousness on his face. Instead, he smiled coldly, a look that mirrored Otto's.

"Do you think…" Green Arrow said slowly, "...that your only opponent is me?"

"What?"

Otto's eyes widened. The mechanical arm behind him reached into the air as a meteor-like figure descended.

He turned to look around.

Boom!

A silver shadow fell from the sky, gleaming under the sun.

Boom, boom, boom!

Shockwaves exploded around, surpassing the speed of sound. Airwaves surged, sending ripples through the air.

At that moment, on the Manhattan Bridge, near the test platform by the Hudson River, everyone saw the figure descend like a god. Without exception, everyone was stunned.

No one failed to recognize the figure that had appeared so suddenly.

The lead character , no, the hero from the movie still playing in theaters.

Even Tony, who was least concerned about such things, immediately recognized him.

Because he had seen the movie.

Victor Stone!

Wait,

He should be called—Cyborg!

As his thoughts raced, Tony suddenly turned to Anton, realizing something. He stared at the well-known film director next to him.

"Anton, do you know him?"

He gritted his teeth, feeling as though he was being toyed with.

"Tony, don't go spitting lies!"

Hearing this, Anton immediately denied it, "I'm just a film director. What could I possibly know? I don't know anything!"
