"Harlow dear, I fell asleep so I couldn't get the details of your date with Alanis last night, how did it go?" Grandma Hamilton asked making it clear to Andrew that the girl was with her grandson and no one else.
"I thought you two divorced?" Andrew asked surprised himself. When Harlow said she was over Alanis he didn't want to believe her because of her strong crush on him. Harlow hurt him many times in the past knowingly or unknowingly because of her crush.
She had eyes for only Alanis, the man who never valued her even for a second.
"We did," Harlow responded leading Andrew to the dining room. It was a small space, but it was comfortable.
"Are you back together?" Andrew asked and she shook her head. To her whatever happened last night was nothing more than a facade. Alanis had too much to drink and probably was spewing nonsense. There is no sane man who will be willing to lose everything he has for love.
Love is stupid.
