"Like I said, I'm not done yet, and you're not allowed to see it," Harlow said firmly, crossing her arms. She had no idea why this man was so determined to insert himself into every part of her life.
Alanis leaned against the stared pillow, smirking. "Come on, my villain, you have nothing to hide. Plus, I promise not to change anything already written." His voice was smooth, coaxing, but Harlow remained unimpressed.
"I want to see it," he added, tilting his head. "And you're not going to stop me now, are you?"
"You're not seeing it." She said with finality.
