She just sat between the two huge men. She was counting, the bumps, the number of turns they had made. If there was any possibility she was going to escape she needed to have a wway home. She counted , trying not to worry, trying not to blame herself, but yet again, wasn't it her fault.
After a long while, they finally got there. Her heart pounded in her ear. She tried to breath but it seemed harder than normal, palms sweatier as they pulled her out of the car. "If you survive this, you'll live." One of the men said. That makes no sense. How can I survive this. Her thoughts screamed in her head.
They led her in. It smelt horrible, like expired something. She couldn't put her nose on it. It was dark, stuffy and cold. It sounded empty and small. The bag suddenly came off .
"A cell?" She looked around." A cell! I'm a prisoner? This doesn't mak.." She was cut short." Shut up. No groaning. No noise." They shouted like a chorus." What about food?" She said fearfully." Once in a day ." They untied her and locked her in ." Hey! What about my family? Hey,hey..." They just walked away. They're trying to starve you. One meal per day! Don't they know I'm an adolescent. I need food. She kept thinking about ways to escape but nothing came to mind.
Surprisingly, she didn't shed a tear. She kept fiddling with her bracelet. The night was cold or most likely the old blanket wasn't warm enough. Her stomach grumbled in complain. She prayed that they weren't serious about the one meal per day thing.
She suddenly heard footsteps. They were light almost unnoticeable but she heard. With the eerie silence that was screaming all around her, she couldn't afford to miss it.
There too light to be the one of the abductors. Then who is it. She thought as the steps got closer. There it stood. Right next to her cell door.
