To me, Athalia is like a doll made of glass, and I'm afraid that my slightest move would break her.

I'm afraid that my wild self would make her cry.

"Are we doing it tonight?" She murmured between the kiss. I pushed her down on the mattress without leaving her lips. She closed her eyes and let my tongue explore every corner of her mouth.

Her legs wrapped around my torso; I put a small peck before going down to her collarbone, and then I grabbed her jaw. Gently.

"How do you want me to fuck you?" I whispered biting her left earlobe. She threw her head back seductively.

"Like your fucktoy"

Arousing sensations rushed down my bones; it was as if someone were granting me the key to heaven. I was grinning like a teenage boy.

I raised the dress up to her breast level, revealing her lower body, and slid my hands down between her hips and panties. Placing a kiss on her thighs, I gripped both sides of her waistband and slid them off her.

I moved my finger back and forth, and suddenly, my mouth was between her legs. I rolled my tongue, forcing her to gasp my name.

She took the support of pillows and responded to my every touch with a moan.

I backed off and pulled her by her legs, our tongues once again engaged in a passionate and wet dance.

Her hand traveled up, unbuttoning my shirt, while I undid her cute little dress. I admired her naked body for the last time,Fuck! I could worship it every night.

Athalia tried to cover her body, but I pinned both her hands above her head and kicked off my pants, relishing the priceless expression on her face.

She gulped hard, "Please don't go harsh" she pleadded and my eyes soften as I whispered "Ne t'inquiète pas chérie"

Her expression turned scared as I was about to thrust in. "Athalia," I kissed her cheek and asked, "What's the problem?"

"It might hurt, I might bleed," she said, looking at the sheets and then at me. My left hand cupped her cheek, "Just look at me when it starts to pain." and I thrust it inside slowly.

She groaned, which guided me further inside of her. Every time she told me it's feeling good, it made me eventually go faster. I kissed her whenever a tear of pleasure escaped her eyes, until she became sleepy.

She was sweating and huffing; Athalia panted when I pulled it out and laid next to her. She buried her face in the pillow and groaned, "Turn on the freakin' air conditioner."

There was the man whom I used to be scared of in childhood-my father sitting at the breakfast table with the newspaper.

"Take a seat," he said, pointing at the empty chair beside him. Athalia was helping Aunt Mae adjust the table with plates and dishes. Her mini white sundress was a thing to admire. 'Pervert,' she mocked at me, picking up the soup bowl.

Darn! My hungry from last night is still unsatisfied. I wanted her on the table instead of breakfast.

My dad coughed, noticing I was staring at her bare legs. "No good morning," he slapped the newspaper on the table. I placed a kiss on Athalia's palm and winked, "Good morning."

She giggled at my action. Dad stared at me with a cold reaction. Oh, I just flirted with his so-called-daughter infront of him.

My cousin entered with his 15-year-old brother, Ronan, from the front door. What are they doing here in the morning? They both sat at the table.

I looked at dad, he grab his fork and said "We are going out of station for a month."

"Take a good care of Ronan, he's a spoil child." said Kabir, his older brother, my older cousin.

Athalia took a seat beside me. "Athalia, I transferred you to the emergency group. You won't be working on a daily basis, only a few times. And Cade, take care of Athalia and Roana, if you actually are a good son to me."

Even if he hadn't told me, I would have taken good care of Athalia every day and night. But Ronan, this kid is a headache.

"Your breaks are starting from tomorrow; I don't think there would be any problem. And Ronan is a good boy, at least around Athalia. Right, Ronan?" said Dad, ruffling Ronan's hair.

"Yeah, I'd love to spend my vacation with Athalia," Ronan said, chewing his bread, and Athalia passed him a smile. I'm sure Athalia is good with children, and also that she's not aware that Ronan is no longer an innocent child.

"Well, I had to go to meet my niece. So, could you book a temporary chef or something?" said Mae.

"When did you have to go?" my dad asked, getting up and buttoning his blazer. It would have been really nice hearing that no one was supposed to be home except me and Athalia; I would have enjoyed this whole month. But they had to tie a teenager with us.

"Today, she is in her labour months and need my help." Mae explained picking up plates.

"It's ok, I'll cook. And we are suppose to be home this whole month so, whatever." Athalia said helping Aunt Mae.

"We are leaving then. Cade, can you take care of the company in my absence? Just go there once a week and make sure everyone is properly attended to, and attend some of my scheduled meetings," my dad demanded. He always forced me to work in his company. You are supposed to take care of all this after my death. Sometimes I hate responsibilities.

"Yes, Father"

"He looks pissed off. Were you planning to bring a few chicks home?" Kabir said to Dad, pointing his eyes at me. Dad frowned his eyebrows; he already knew about the situation between me and Athalia.

It was the night when I was necking Athalia in the kitchen, and he suddenly appeared out of nowhere in the middle of the night. It ended up with me getting a death threat, 'If you ever break her heart, I won't hesitate to break your bones.' I'm getting a death threat from my own father, how awesome...

I am not even dating her, dude.

"You better not," he said, handing me a pile of papers. "They have the meeting contents. Read them before saying something to the boards."

"Bye Ron, and don't create problems for your brother's sake. Bye Alia" Kabir waved at them, and they both left. "I'll leave too after an hour" informed Mae.

"So, where is my room?" Ronan asked, wiping his hands. "I'll show you," Athalia replied with a gracious smile.

Perhaps, I have all the responsibilities now.

"Gather all the important stuff, and don't leave any pendrive with information here." I told everyone because we are not suppose to come here for a month.

"We still haven't find anything about we are reaching on, you all are suppose to come at my home when I need your help. Do you get it?" Thinks like a boss, act like a boss and I am the boss....

"Yes boss" they all shouted.

"Where is Athalia?" Nathan asked collecting the papers. "She is home with Ronan" Asher entered with Scarlet but I ignored them. Good that I don't have to deal with him for a month.

"Oh, you know my sister is in the same class as Ronan?" I hummed in reply. I received a text from Athalia: 'Come home early; we ran out of groceries, and I have an appointment with my doctor.'

It was already past six. I shared the important information with everyone and decided to leave. But Asher blocked the door with his hand. Fucking Asher.

"You thought you could steal my girl with your sweet, flirtatious talks, and I would sit with my hands folded?" I looked at Scarlett to make sure if he's talking about her.

"I don't have any interest in Scar-"

"I'm talking about my Rose," he said, stepping in front of me. My Rose, I really want to punch him hard right now, but I smile instead.

"Step aside because My 'Lia is waiting for me patiently at home." This is the first time I'm fighting over a girl, and I'm having no fun because it's getting late.

"Fuck off from Rose. She is mine to take." He threatened, my phone rings. It was Athalia. I picked it up and put it on speaker.

"What a great timing, My Lady. Your ex-boyfriend again wants to fight. Can you become a peace angel here?" I said through the phone, which totally made Asher angry. Good.

"What are you talking about? My appointment is at 7, we ran out of groceries, and Mae already left. Come back quick," she said, then hung up the call.

Maybe this was enough for Asher, but he still didn't back down. I leaned to meet his eyes and used the features my father gifted me: cold eyes and a poker face, enough to scare anyone.

"Look, if you actually think she is Rose, then be aware I'm her thorn, and I have venom in my pricks. So, better don't create any scene because my father is out of station, which means the power is in my hand." I parted his shoulder and made my way to lift.

"This won't end easier!" he screamed. I stuck my middle finger up in the air, giving zero shits to this bastard's words.

When I reached, Athalia was wearing her shoes while Ronan was watching some webseries, sitting on the kitchen couch.

"Let's Go, we're already late." she said getting up."What about Ronan?" I asked, can I leave him here believing he won't burn down my house.

"He'd be okey, his girlfriend is coming over too. I already ordered pizza for them. It's just the matter of few hours." she replied, few hours and my house would be upside down.

"What about groceries?" I opened the door for her like I do everytime. "Mae gave me the list before leaving. Let's buy it after my appointment"

I drove her to the clinic, and she asked me to wait outside. It's awkward for me; mostly pregnant couples and women with newborns are here. What I'm doing with my life is a confusion now... I never brought any of my previous girlfriends a single piece of chocolate, and here I am in a gynecologist clinic with a girl whom I just met two months ago.

Relationships sucks me; I'm always the selfish person who only cares about himself. They say I'm rude because I have money, but it's them who are sticking with me unless I let them spend my money.

Most of my girlfriends were like 'clubbing around with my credit card, buying luxury dresses and purses, going to high-end restaurants, and never saying a word to me until they wanted to get fucked. I still remember the day when I was having a high fever, and my girlfriend was having fun with her friends at the bar.

Now, I don't even putting efforts to impress a girl; I don't care at all.

"Cade?" Athalia's voice caught my attention. "Umm, she is calling you inside," she said, pointing towards the room. I removed my hands from my pocket, getting inside. It's obvious; if I'm her sex-partner, the doctor needs to give me prescriptions too.

A lady in her 30's with blonde hair and glasses, was sitting; Dr. Thea was carved on the nameplate. "So this is your boy-"

"No," Athalia cut off her question before she could complete.

The doctor asked me to sit and inquired about my health. Everything is fine with me, she said, writing down something on paper.

She sighed deeply before giving us details. "Athalia's conditions are already the worst, and she never listens to me," Thea said, shooting an angry look at Athalia. Athalia turned her chair backward, not meeting her eyes.

"I'm glad to know you live with her because there are things she should avoid but she doesn't. I hope you don't let her do them." Thea listed the do's and don'ts.

- Don't let her drink excessive alcohol, caffeine, or smoke.

- Encourage her to do regular exercise or take a morning walk.

- Discourage her from carrying heavy objects.

- Add plant-based food to her diet - fruits, vegetables, and milk. Dark chocolates to increase her libido.

- Daily or regular sexual activities. Not to go harsh on her...

Damn! What am I, her husband? Is her problem that much serious?

"It's not just physical health; her mental health issues are affecting it too. Athalia, do you still get nightmares or sleep paralysis?" Thea asked, and she responded with a slow nod. I have seen her struggling with sleep sometimes. She always comes to my bedroom early in the morning around three or four o'clock and lies beside me.

"Can you go out, Athalia? I'll hand Mr. Hanniel your prescriptions and medicine list." Athalia looked at me before leaving.

Dr. Thea began again after Athalia went outside. "I never leak information about my clients, but I think you need to know." My ears became more attentive than before.

"Athalia will not follow the prescription unless you become strict. I don't know if you are her boyfriend or not, but be attentive to her health issues if you don't want her ending up on a hospital bed. Infertility is not the only problem; she has been through many surgeries.

I've been her personal doctor for almost four years. I know she still behaves like a child. Saying no to nutritious food or milk is her habit. She may try to avoid sexual interactions with you, don't pressure her. Instead, try to earn her belief that you won't hurt her. That's all, thank you, Mr. Hanniel." She completed, and it amazed me she knows that much about Athalia.

"First of all, I'm not her boyfriend, and don't worry, Athalia is my responsibility now. Thank you, Dr. Thea." I get up, holding the medicine list and prescription in my hand.

I was about to leave, and she said, "Please, bring happiness to her life. Good to see she has someone now."

"Sorry if that was awkward" she said while I was taking out a shopping cart. "It was not"

"What was she talking with you about?" she pulled open the notepad on her phone for the groceries list.

"Nothing, she was just telling me precautions," I lied. I should ask Athalia about her personal problems myself; it would be rude to know someone just leaked your secrets.

"My doctor is quite strict," she said, placing jam in the shopping cart. "Your problem is quite serious," I replied.

She placed the other items one by one. "Would Ronan be alright at home?" she asked.

"Would my home be alright with Ronan?" she laughed at my words. We almost reached the cash counter.

"Oh, I forgot to buy sanitary pads." she pulled me and the cart with her. I grabbed a box of condoms and threw it in the cart without Athalia noticing. Let's surprise her tonight...

The cashier was making the bill; Athalia hugged my forearm and placed her chin on my shoulder. "I'm hungry," she said, "and I don't want to cook."

"Let's go to a restaurant then." She approached to grab the shopping bags, but I didn't let her. "There was a don't to carry heavy things. Remember?"

"It's not even that heavy; you are taking the prescription too seriously." She made a pout, and I put a quick peck on it; then she smiled.

"Let's go and eat." I put the shopping bags in the car. It's good that the restaurant is next to the department shop; I don't need to drive again.
