If I should have a daughter
If I should have a daughter She would be my sun, My bouncing ball of fun.
I would tell her
When you meet trouble, greet her with a grin.
I would teach her all I know And how to go with the flow She would be herself
And never someone else.
I'd make sure she got dirty
Just so she can be fine
When touching dirt and grime.
If I should have a daughter She would be my phoenix And I would be her flame.
She would be a fish And I would be her sea
And it would be us against society.
