A prolonged sigh of relief echoed around the huge room as a girl with flowing black hair entered with a basket full of different kinds of bread in one hand and a teapot in the other.
Apparently, the kitchen was so far down on the first floor of the castle and the walls were so thick that the sounds could not penetrate them so easily.
No one had heard Strawberry's high-pitched moan. Byron had worried for nothing.
But then again, if they had continued, this black-haired girl would have caught them.
So, in a way, his efforts weren't in vain.
"Your Highness," said the girl, bowing slightly, "Keza told me to ask you if you would like some tea."
She was clad in a soft white dress that was too loose to show her womanly curves, but Byron's discerning eye could see that she was voluptuous.
Like Strawberry, she didn't have a name.
