Byron yelled at his captor anything that came to mind, but the thing didn't respond. It was focused on taking him away.
He watched helplessly as Alcippe, Penthesilea and the others became smaller and smaller as his captor flew both higher and further.
He tried to turn his head so he could at least take a glimpse of the abomination that had kidnapped him, but the thing had left him no chance to wriggle.
It hugged him from behind, its claws clasped on his belly so tight that he felt like suffocating.
No. He was actually suffocating!
He would have blamed the height if there wasn't a choking fragrance oozing from the creature, hot and intoxicating.
Byron was calling it a creature because he didn't want to imagine it in a humanoid form. He didn't want to have weird thoughts about the two, melon-like soft things which were pressing on his back.
