Chapter 131 - Shooting

Instructor Miki stood completely naked, her alluring form posed provocatively.

I slapped myself hard across the face, cursing the damned Temporal Enforcer ability that could predict even such trivialities.

The abrupt interruption of my foresight left my mind spinning, and my face pale, sparing me from the awkward scrutiny of Instructor Miki and Guan Ling, who would surely question my bizarre behavior. "What's wrong with you?

Are you feeling unwell?

Their concern made me feel slightly guilty, so I quickly replied, "It's nothing;

I've just encountered some issues in my recent training that occasionally cause headaches.

Miki said gently, "The various abilities on Demon Island may conflict with each other. Why don't you show me your Grimoire so I can see if anything seems amiss?" Grateful for her kindness, I politely declined, saying, "I only possess one or two abilities, which I have been using effectively. There's no need for you to worry, Instructor Miki.

Among the lessons I learned on Demon Island were not only various abilities but also invaluable life experiences. A newly met private instructor had yet to earn a place on my list of trusted individuals.

Showing my Grimoire to someone else, revealing my secrets, was a foolish act I would never commit. Miki seemed unperturbed by my refusal, chuckling softly as she personally guided us to our accommodations.

I had nothing to carry, as all my belongings were contained within the Grimoire, and Guan Ling was well taken care of by her father. This little girl had no need for my concern; her spatial card contained enough supplies for dozens of container trucks, including hundreds of the latest Parisian fashions. Once settled, I summoned Juliette, allowing the demoness to breathe freely while also inquiring about a few matters.

Juliette! Aside from their activities on the island, where else do those mercenary groups leave their mark?" The seemingly drowsy demoness stirred at my question and lazily replied, "Many powerful mercenary groups venture into even more distant realms, but their fates are often grim; less than one in a thousand returns to Demon Island." "What about the Bosa World?

What is that place?

I asked.

The Bosa World is one of the most elite spatial cards," she explained. "But, little lecher, even if it were unclaimed, you would have no chance of acquiring it;

that card is simply too formidable.

I complained, "Please refrain from responses that only lead to more questions. I want to know if there's any chance of returning alive from the Ruopa Seven Seas, and what exactly is the Bosa World that Guan Ling's father has gone to."

The sound of her gentle snores was oddly enticing, a seductive rhythm that beckoned.

I casually remarked, "Being around such a demoness all the time, I'm bound to fall from grace someday!" I flipped open the Grimoire to the page detailing the technique of 'Formless Sword Qi' and fell into deep contemplation.

Now that Snoke had mastered terrifying martial prowess, commanding an army of one hundred undead alongside skilled assassins, perhaps only an organization like the Demon Sealing Mercenary Corps could rival the Locke Group. With Jack possessing the powerful ability of the Druid Warrior's Heart, I needed even greater strength to protect myself.

The newly acquired powers and treasures, including the Heart of the Undead Warrior, the Sword Techniques from Skull Island, the Evil-Breaking Sword Case, the Bull Serpent God's War Hammer, and the Illusion Butterfly Contract, were all invaluable. My mastery of magic and platinum glory was advancing rapidly, and my unnamed martial arts techniques were seeing breakthroughs.

Coupled with the Temporal Enforcer's foresight of danger, I did not believe that either of them could definitively overpower me. However, being alone, it would undoubtedly be advantageous to have a few hidden skills up my sleeve. Among my resources, the quickest way to enhance my combat strength was through a set of techniques known as the Pinnacle of Demon Path Martial Arts. The three magical tomes I acquired from Judina would require considerable time to integrate into my combat repertoire.

Since witnessing the battle between Yan Tianhong and the Killing King Jack, I had made progress in mastering the 'Formless Sword Qi,' now reaching the first stage.

Yet, having spent all my time with Guan Ling, I had yet to contemplate the reasons behind this breakthrough.

I had attempted it several times but could no longer produce such sharp sword energy.

If I could not grasp the intricacies of this technique, I would have to rely on luck to unleash the sword energy, which would be futile. From my experience with various martial arts, I observed that, generally, the difficulty and power of martial arts at the same level are directly proportional;

the more powerful the technique, the harder it is to advance. 'Formless Sword Qi' required a foundation of martial arts above level five from the very beginning, and despite my efforts on Skull Island, I had made no progress. The power of this technique must be extraordinarily formidable. Once a martial arts card is used, the path of luck and the mental incantations become deeply imprinted in the mind.

The path of luck for 'Formless Sword Qi' is exceedingly complex, and the mental incantations are quite obscure. Under normal circumstances, these incantations hold little use for those wielding martial arts cards;

as long as one follows the fixed path to circulate their vital energy, they will naturally progress. However, based on my experience, I had long realized that those obscure incantations were the key to mastering this technique. As I quieted my mind and meticulously recited the incantations, pondering for an extended period yielded no results.

Just as I began to feel agitated, a phrase suddenly leaped into my consciousness, illuminating my thoughts.

Lead the vital energy to transform into elixirs, the Narrow Peak Nine Turns Sword Qi emerges...

The vital energy cultivated through the unnamed mental technique, dense and powerful, must undergo transformation to become sword energy.

With this realization, I adjusted my vital energy according to the sword technique, intentionally thinning it from a coarse stream to a delicate thread. I extended my finger, and a flickering, pale gray sword energy surged forth from my fingertip.

The sword energy was slender, as thin as paper, with the edge of the energy blade appearing almost translucent, composed of countless fragments of vital energy.

This seemingly fragile sword energy, on the verge of collapse, vibrated with an unusual rhythm, causing the air to resonate with a thunderous roar, akin to a grand symphony of ancient battles.

The Heart of the Undead Warrior within me pulsed with a ghostly blue flame, and I found a black short sword of second-tier quality materializing in my palm.

With a swift motion, I drew the 'Formless Sword Qi' across the black short sword, which was instantly cleaved in two, causing the core runes of the Undead Weapon to shatter and dissolve into pure death energy.

And this is just the first stage of my training; how can it possess such formidable power?
