Chapter 13 - Attack on Deborah secrets blood factory. 13.

In a short amount of time, Tamara and her followers regrouped."They've taken a few humans!" After recovering his breath, Jason let out a sigh. The look in Tamara's eyes was tense. "We track them," she stated straightforwardly. "Now." Using their enhanced vampire senses, they followed the van's route through the night, relying on their instincts to guide them through the dangerous environment. They made their way through the streets in a hurry till they arrived at the blood warehouse.

On the other side, the police have got the call and are frantically trying to get assistance from the passengers who are currently being held captive.

Mrs. Charlton, the FBI commissioner in charge of Uptown, arrived at the site a few minutes later, accompanied by a few members of her staff as well as members of the local police force. As they stepped out of their automobiles, their eyes were instantly drawn to the abandoned commercial bus, sitting eerily in the centre of the road. The region seemed curiously silent, the night air dense with the vestiges of something... off. Mrs Charlton's brow furrowed as she assessed the situation. "What the hell happened here?" she whispered to herself. The bus was empty, its windows smashed, and the area around it was in disorder as if a major conflict had taken place. There were evident traces of a confrontation—overturned trash cans, broken glass, and strewn debris. But what struck Charlton as peculiar was the absence of any bodies. There should have been victims, or at the very least, some indication of an attack." Commissioner," one of her team members yelled out, pointing to the ground near the bus. Mrs. Charlton approached, kneeling to observe what had captured his eye. A few weird, white arches were spread throughout the ground. They appeared nearly like bone bits, but their texture was smoother, more artificial."What could this signify?" Mrs Charlton asked loudly, more to herself than anyone else. One of the officers shrugged. "It's odd. No bodies, but it's evident something significant went down here. Maybe a gang fight?"Mrs. Charlton wasn't so sure. There was something about those white fragments that made her nervous. "Collect samples of these," she ordered, nodding toward the white arches. "We're going to need a full analysis."Her staff worked fast, transferring the shards into containers for further investigation. As the investigation continued, Mrs Charlton couldn't resist the sensation that they were missing something—something far bigger than a gang brawl. The remnants Something lot bigger than a gang conflict. The ruins of the scene spoke of violence, but there was an eerie silence, as though whatever had occurred here had been deliberately wiped or covered up. Mrs. Charlton stood up, her mind racing."This doesn't feel right," she mumbled to her second-in-command, Agent Daniels. "There should be blood, bodies… something more tangible."Daniels nodded his face taut with concern. "It's almost like they cleaned up after themselves, but who could pull something like this off so quickly?"Mrs. Charlton's eyes travelled toward the horizon, where the ancient industrial buildings loomed in the distance. "We need to broaden the search radius. There's more to this than meets the eye."Just as she gave the order, one of the forensic officers raced over, holding a container with some of the white arches inside. "Commissioner, you might want to take a look at this," he added, his voice low with caution. Mrs. Charlton peeked into the crate. The arches were weak, yet oddly bright in the streetlights. "What the hell are these?"They don't match anything we've seen. We'll need lab tests, but there's something about their structure. Almost like they're not... fully human."Mrs. Charlton's gut twisted. She'd been in law enforcement long enough to trust her instincts, and everything about this case screamed that something dark and inhuman was hiding beneath the surface."We need answers. Fast," she said firmly. "Whatever did this, whatever they are, they're still out there. And I don't think this was the last we'll hear from them."As her team continued gathering evidence, Mrs Charlton couldn't shake the sense of urgency mounting in her chest. Something much bigger was happening in Uptown, and it wasn't simply a basic crime wave. Something ancient, something strong, was stirring in the shadows. Immediately her mind moved to thinking about Tamara, the nice vampire who saved her life and her family.  Then she said to herself, peering deep into the dark sky,  I wish we could see again. We need your help.

On the other hand, back to the blood factory of Deborah. Tamara and her six other followers hid in a nearby Bush. Scanning inside the blood factory.  Tamara confirmed. If we eliminate her blood supply, she won't be able to transform as many humans. She's been stockpiling for months, preparing ready for this day. If we take it out, we slow her down. The blood farm was Deborah's hidden weapon. Hidden in an abandoned factory on the outskirts of the city, it was where she kept human captives, draining them slowly over time to provide a steady supply of fresh blood. It was also where she conducted rituals to speed up the transformation process, turning humans into vampires in mere hours instead of days. Tamara and Jason knew it wouldn't be easy. The factory was carefully guarded by Deborah's most dedicated followers—vampires who had been with her since the beginning. But if they could destroy the blood farm, it would be a terrible blow to Deborah's development plans. With no time to lose, Tamara Jason and their tiny band of rebels set off for an attack on the factory. As they approached, they could already sense the dark energy enveloping the site. The air was saturated with the aroma of blood, and the eerie glow of crimson light shot forth from the smashed windows. Inside, the hostages were tied to metal cots, their bodies pallid and frail from regular blood loss. Vampires glided amongst them, filling vials with blood and preparing for the next change. Tamara's eyes burned with rage as she observed the sight. "Let's end this." Her group burst into the factory, catching the vampires by surprise. A furious struggle began, with blood and fangs flying in all directions. Tamara battled with an intensity she hadn't released in a long time, her every action deliberate and lethal. Jason moved beside her, his sword slicing through the air, taking out Deborah's guards with rapid precision.  On the other hand, some of Deborah's. Followers who lived and escaped death went immediately to report to Deborah about Tamara and her group interception. On Quest Street. Quickly, Deborah Sensed that Tamara and her crew might assault the Blood factory, so she signalled her security, and they got prepared, got into their car and zoomed off, headed to the Blood factory.
