Kaito and Ryota crept toward the abandoned warehouse, their adrenaline pumping as they prepared to rescue Sakura.
"Remember, diversion at the main entrance," Ryota whispered, reiterating their plan.
"Got it," Kaito replied, his eyes scanning the perimeter.
Ryota sprinted toward the entrance, creating a distraction.
Kaito snuck around to the east side door, avoiding guards.
*Ryota's Capture*
Suddenly, Ryota's comms device crackled.
"Ryota, you're surrounded," Akira's voice sneered.
Kaito's heart sank.
Ryota's voice came through the comms device, strained.
"Akira's men...they've got me."
Kaito rushed toward Ryota's location.
*Akira's Revelation*
Akira appeared, Ryota captive.
"You fools," Akira spat. "My ultimate goal: harness Kenji's resources to control Japan's underworld."
Ryota struggled.
Akira raised her gun.
"Time to eliminate you, Ryota."
*Sakura's Plea*
Sakura screamed.
"No!"
*Kaito's Intervention*
Just as Akira fired...
A door burst open.
Kaito stood, fierce determination etched on his face.
"Akira, you'll never win!"
Akira's eyes widened.
"Kaito!" Ryota shouted.
The gunshot echoed.
Everything froze.
Kaito's eyes locked onto Ryota.
Ryota's body slumped.
Akira's smile twisted.
