Arriving home was a very good thing to possibly happen to me after I was expelled from school. Well, it's not my fault they wanted to see my wings, and with that, I'm sure Mum would really pluck them all off. But fitting into the human world isn't easy, having many fools look at you like you're defenseless.
"Let's get moving, kids. We can't stay here anymore."
Franco and Penelope exchanged nervous glances.
"What about school, Mum?" Penelope asked.
"You'll enroll in a new school in Los Angeles. And remember, no using your powers, no revealing your true identities. You must blend in."
"Yes, ma'am," they chimed in unison.
Their mother's stern expression softened.
"Nice house, Dad."
"Your mum has a great eye for houses."
"Of course..."
"Everyone needs to settle into their rooms and get ready for school tomorrow."
"What?? But that's too early. Let's stay a little more, right, Franco?"
"That's none of my business. All I know is that I'm not keeping up the promise of forgiving enemies. I execute them immediately."
"Okay, kids. Let's make a deal. Just like your old school, you'll give them two months to change. And if they don't, you're free to...handle any Being that gets in your way."
