Keira was yawning for several times already. She was so bored to death at the ceremony especially with the long speeches of elders. She hated this kind of ceremony and she felt like dying of boredom at any moment soon.
Her father insisted for her to come and attend the main recognition ceremony for the soldiers who had lost their lives in battle against the terrorists who did nothing but harassed innocent people on the southern part of their country. Those terrorists were also responsible for the continuous bombing and various threats on that area.
"Stop yawning," whispered by her mother to her ear. Her mom was seated beside her.
Keira rolled her eyes. How could she stop yawning? If these speeches continued, she'll soon fall asleep.
Her face was crumpled the whole time though she followed her mom and suppressed her yawning. She can't even escape the event or else she will be grounded and all her cards would be confiscated. She can't live without those black cards.
She put the bluetooth in her ear and scrolled for some music on her phone to fight the boredom when her stomach suddenly grumbled.
She quickly stood up to look for the nearest restroom. Her eyes rolled seeing that the women's restroom was not available and it had a placard post written to use the other one upstairs which was kind of far and she definitely won't make it there. The grumbling of her stomach was so severe that she had a hard time of stopping the urge to poop.
She looked sideways before she hurriedly went into the men's restroom. When she confirmed that there was no one inside, she locked the door and released all the impurities inside her stomach.
'What the hell did she eat this morning for her stomach to ache like this? Oops!' she gasped when a loud fart burst out followed by the thing that was responsible for her stomach ache.
Then she heard voices of men outside the door. "General Lim why are you outside?" asked by one of the men.
"Go use the other restroom." The so called General Lim commanded in a cold tone instead of answering the question.
After about two minutes, she heard another man said, "Is the restroom not available Sir?" Then she heard the so called General Lim answered, "Go and use the restroom upstairs instead."
Keira almost lost all the air out of her body as her palm became cold.
'Gosh this is so embarrassing!' she thought silently. Thank goodness that a certain General Lim was shooing the other men who were supposed to use the restroom.
She immediately ended her ritual inside the restroom, fixed herself and quickly went out.
Outside, she saw a tall young man in a General uniform like her dad. Keira felt a lightning struck her body. His impact to her was very strong that she stared at him with her glittering eyes.
He was expressionless when he spoke, "Don't you know that this place and event are for soldiers so you should expect that most men will have to go inside that restroom every now and then."
Keira was still out of her mind while she continued to stare at the man with eyes full of admiration. He was so handsome in his general outfit, very masculine and his face was perfect, just her taste.
'Gosh! Her panty was going to drop in that instant!' she thought while her mouth was slightly opened, drooling with the handsome hunk before her.
His lips were red and it looked very kissable while that nose was perfectly curved and pointed and his eyes, she can almost melt on his deep gaze.
The man was oozing with sex appeal.
"Are you okay?" Zach asked irritably when he noticed that the girl just stared at him like he was a piece of meat.
Zach frowned and turned around to go inside the restroom instead. There's no point in talking to her since she seemed to be out of herself.
He was used to that kind of gaze from other women. However, he was surprised because she was the first stunning woman who looked at him like that.
What he meant was, compared to others; she was definitely on a higher level. With her aura and looks, the first thing that would come to your mind was she was a princess.
Keira snapped back to her senses when she saw the general enter the room.
She immediately said, "Wait, and don't go inside yet!"
But it's too late since he was already inside. Keira's mouth twitched seeing that the General hurriedly came out with his hand covered to his nose.
Keira smiled at him and timidly said, "I was about to stop you because the smell was surely still inside. I am sorry; I had an unexpected stomach ache."
She was so embarrassed while she said those words so she slightly bowed her head to hide her blushing face. Then she heard no response so she raised her head up to look at him. However, the General was already gone.
Keira let out a wicked smile as she hurried back on her sit. She had met the man of her dreams. She had been struck by a cupid; this is what they called 'Love At First Sight'.
The host of the program was mentioning the names for the recognition and special awards. Then the name for the Medal of Valor was called. General Zacharias Lim, the youngest General of their country, the man of her dreams.
Keira was smiling widely while she clapped her hands in full excitement.
'Just wait General Zach, I will definitely become your future Mrs. Lim.' she thought dreamily while she giggled on her seat. She was hopeful when she saw her dad hugged General Zach for a long time on the stage.
She should start behaving herself from now on so her dad would help her achieve her new goal since it seemed like they were close to each other.
Keira couldn't hide her excitement as soon as the ceremony ended.
She almost ran to where her father was. Her stolen gazes never left Gen. Zacharias "Zach" Lim.
She coughed demurely, so her father would notice her presence from the back.
"Oh... my daughter is here. Come dear, and let me introduce you to the best officers in our country." The Field Marshall announced proudly and introduced Keira to the other newly appointed officers.
Keira gave all her sweetest and best smile to all the officers. Her father almost introduced her to all the officers around, old and young, except for the person she wanted.
After a while, her eyes went back to her target, as she stole glances at General Zach's spot every now and then. She was an expert at that, stealing glances in a very subtle way.
Her smiling face started crumpling while she showed her hazardous aura to her dad, using her expressive eyes.
'What is this? Is this intentional Dad?' She asked her father with her eyes, and she was answered by his wicked smile.
'I know what you want! You behave first, and wait until I introduced you! Act properly as a Field Marshall's daughter, be prim and proper!' Her father scolded her just with his gaze.
They often did that, and it was practically normal for their tandem of father and daughter. She was her daddy's girl, and they could understand each other, by just looking at each other's eyes, no words needed. Even her Mom was amazed at how they did the eye talking.
Her Mom would always complain, asking if they had some kind of telepathic powers since she couldn't relate anything, while the father and daughter could understand each other well-without even talking.
Keira narrowed her eyes, as her face totally crumpled with annoyance, but still, she followed her father's arrangement and directed her sweetest smile on him. She talked demurely to other officers to kill time.
"Field Marshal's daughter is really beautiful and smart. I'm sure, many men are going to flock at your door, dear, to ask for your hand once you turn 21," commented one of her father's Senior Officers.
Keira gave them a genuine smile as she said, "Thank you for your compliment Sir. As much as possible, I want to have someone as good as my father, who is responsible enough to take good care of his family."
The senior and young officers laughed, as one of the elders spoke, "Oh no, no one here could be compared to your dad, so far all the young officers in here don't have a chance then..."
The elder paused for a second and suddenly stared at someone at a distance, as he added, "Oh, I think we have one here..."
Everybody shifted their gazes to where the elder officer's eyes were fixed. Almost all of the officers nodded in unison, while another senior spoke.
"Yeah, General Zach is definitely someone comparable to the Field Marshall. He's like the young version of our Field Marshall...he will fit well as the young Miss's partner."
Keira showed a full-lipped smile, with a glimpse of her pretty white teeth. While her cheeks were deep red, because of coyness that added more glow to her aura.
Both high-ranked and young soldiers gasped
at her alluring reaction, as admiration could have been seen on their faces.
However, no one had enough courage to talk to her, except the seniors at the same age as her father, who treated her as a daughter.
Keira was like a star in the night sky. She was beyond their reach, like a star which they could appreciate on by looking at.
Physically, she was perfect, as a dream of any man.
She had sharp and defined facial features, especially they eyes, lips, brow, and nose. She dressed well, and her outfit emphasized her amazing, hourglass shape figure, fit and curvy with her amazing legs.
Keira was considered a Princess or even better, than a Princess. She was the only daughter of the Field Marshal, the only heiress of the construction business ruler Chan Family's wealth and power.
Keira directly looked at the spot, where General Zach was this time around, and coincidentally the young General turned his head towards her and their eyes met.
Without blinking an eye, Keira looked intensely as she quickly blinked an eye at him and smiled seductively...
Unexpectedly, Zach walked towards her, with an expressionless face.
'Got you, babe!' Keira murmured inwardly as she continued smiling at him seductively.
Her heartbeat was pumping wildly, as Zach was almost near her. She was about to say hello to him when a girl passed by from her back and suddenly pounced into his embrace.
Unconsciously, her seductively smile turned into a wry one.
Field Marshal Chan was observing his daughter from a distance. He noticed how Keira's eyebrow arched.
Then, he looked at Zach, as he shook his head and murmured, "Poor guy..."
He was happy with the good eyesight of his daughter for a man, but at the same time, he pitied his favorite soldier, who would be the new apple of the eye of his daughter.
In the eyes of everyone, who didn't know her closely, she was a reflection of the prim and proper woman.
But in reality, Keira was the most stubborn, witty, and naughty person you could ever meet, and so far, her parents and a few of her closest friends were the only ones, who knew about it.
She could have got everything she wanted with just a snap of her fingers. She had her ways on everything... even her parents couldn't do anything about it...
