The humans had formed empires in line with the former continents there were six in general:The Fuhrane Empire , The Jakarta Empire, The Matnabei Empire, The Dao Empire, The Claw Empire and the Kobil Empire.
Each Empire bordered the Great Wilderness to an extent. The event had greatly weakened the human race and it had not reached its peak . Some experts had risen and founded their own clans. With their power they became the guardians of their Empires thus the institution of royalty was created.
Henry lived under the care of his mother , he had no memory of a father and had come to be satisfied with a single mother . They lived in the Kobil Empire near the border with the Great Wilderness, it was named so since it was too dangerous for them to explore with the empire's current strength. This part of the Wilderness was more like an open savannah .
They inhabited the lands occupied by the Hans Clan, one of the strongest Clans in the Six Empires. It was tasked with protecting this front of the Kobil Empire. It was a grand clan and in case of emergencies received the help from its founding powerhouses. Its current warriors alone were not to be taken slightly.
Henry and his mum lived a stable life they had enough as they were not rich and did not struggle to make ends meet.
A dark cloud unlike anything the villagers had ever seen before appeared deep in the Great Wilderness plains , warriors from the Hans clan gathered in Henry's village. While playing with his friends Henry actually caught a glance of the brewing storm he instinctively felt a sense of danger. His immediate thought was his mum and immediately ran back to the house.
He found his mother waiting for him . A trumpet was blown as an emergency call for the villagers to gather. Henry's mom held him close to her as she proceeded to the assembly point.
On stage in front of the crowd of people was a clan warrior dressed elegantly in the Hans Clan regalia, "People of Jule Village, you are in grave danger , an A level storm it always occurs on the birth of an S level creature. You are advised to move out as soon as possible for your safety. Hans Clan warriors will be there to protect you on the journey to the imperial capital."
After the announcement everyone hurries to get there possessions. Henry's mother leads Henry to the house and starts packing, in contrast to the other panicking villagers she seems calm and this assures Henry.
They put their belongings in a wagon pulled by a Six-legged Earth Horse despite its size it was one of the wild creatures tamed by man and could be afforded by the well to do families.
Under the guidance of the Hans Warriors they were led to the Highlands where the Imperial Capital had been established.
The storm was approaching the abandoned village fast. A mighty earthquake was felt as the warriors told the the people to hurry up. Weak wild creatures started appearing they passed through the village and proceeded to the other side they did not seem to pay attention to the Hans warriors ,it was as if they were running for their lives. They did not dare approach the warriors as they were intimidated by their stronger level aura.
The creatures that appeared started increasing in rank as the storm increased in intensity. Some old powerhouses appeared and told the Hans warriors to take the villagers to the city as the current dangers exceeded their capabilities.
Mythical creatures started to appear heading to the centre of the storm leaving the powerhouses on the ground, the very presence of those beings crushed the powerhouses to the ground leaving them with no ability to breath .
Their presence could be felt by the villagers who were deep in the ranges . Henry could not help but look back. They could all feel a chill down their spines.
After the mythical beings were gone the powerhouses rose , they all heaved sighs of relief who could believe that the most powerful humans across the six empires could not withstand the presence of a single creature and that was when it ignored them, inferior beings, human beings were truly at the bottom of the food chain.
