I went to get a few papers, and sat inside the boys' locker room, the smell of burned hair still in the air, but because the principal hadn't mentioned for us to change the place, I had to remain here in this disturbing setting.
Seven Students were outside the door, looked after by Rory.
The door opened, and my heartbeat accelerated, before calming down again, seeing it was not Jude.
My questions were the following: Name (which I already knew anyway); reason for entering the changing room; recounting what happened before the fire and the position in the room; and who they thought the culprit was.
This was normally a situation for the police to investigate; the fire, combined with the hair products or whatever had accelerated the flames, could very well have killed that student. If that kid died because of shock, a hidden sickness of the heart, or whatnot, even if it wasn't done with the intention of murder, it would at least be manslaughter.
