Alduin took a deep breath. "My death is approaching," he said.
"You must take the throne - wearing the crown won't change anything, my son. Your siblings will fight against you," added Alduin, gesturing toward the water.
Nero took the water and began helping him drink. "Though I'm the legitimate heir, I'm well aware they will oppose me, which is why you must allow me to marry."
"If you leave the capital, returning will be difficult," said Alduin.
"Then hold on a bit longer, father. When I return, I'll be stronger," said Nero.
"Going far away while the war isn't yet finished will be dangerous." Alduin was holding Nero's hands.
