The final clone was Rikimaru's strongest. It engaged in rapid close combat with Sato. Sato dodged effortlessly while the clone's punches hit nothing but air. Then Sato's hand glowed red and took down the clone with a single punch.
"That was a good attempt," said Sato, approaching his son. "Being able to create this many clones shows how much you've improved."
"I taught myself," said Rikimaru and launched forward with a kick. Sato stood still, blocking each attack with his hands.
Rikimaru was out of breath. "When will I see mother?" he asked, as his fist hit Sato's palm.
"I don't know yet, it might not happen again," said Sato, with a sad expression.
"The messenger who came, they're related to mother, aren't they?" asked Rikimaru, throwing a kick.
His attacks were quite empty, merely using them as a means to express his inner thoughts.
