Setting: Site 7 simulation training room. Elliot's perspective. Elliot is frustrated, shaking his fists.
Elliot: "This sucks! We've been at this since yesterday!"
Terry: "C'mon. Just flare it up like you did with that faceless."
Elliot: "That's easier said than done! It's not like I'm in any situation right now-hold up. That's it!"
Terry tilts his head.
Elliot: "Fight me, bruh."
Terry: "Huh?"
Elliot: "The time I fought the faceless and the time I encountered that bot… both times I was in danger. I think I need an adrenaline rush to start-"
Before Elliot could even finish, Terry's fist drills into Elliot's cheek, forcing him to turn the other way.
Elliot stumbles back a bit, holding his cheek. He angrily looks at Terry, who has a pretty blank expression.
Elliot: "Ah! What was that!?"
Terry: "You told me to fight you." Were you not ready?
PAGE 2
Forte (off screen): "How about I set the stage for you?"
The all white room that the two are in begins to change into a green grassy field. Elliot looks around in awe.
Elliot: "Man, just like last time, it's so realistic."
Terry: "Nice and calm, eh? I can dig it."
PAGE 3
The two look around as the light-hearted setting takes a turn for the worst as there is a ring of fire circling them.
Elliot: "Huh? Where'd this come from?"
Terry: "What the…"
Forte: "Alright. This fire will close in on you slowly. The only way for it to stop is for Elliot to activate his power."
Terry: "What!?"
Fotre: "One more thing."
While Terry and Elliot panic, murderous robots spawn around them.
Forte: "These guys will constantly try to push you into the fire. No pressure, El."
Elliot and Terry stand back to back. Oddly enough, they look confident with smirks on their faces.
Elliot: "Well this is gonna work up an appetite."
Terry: "This enough adrenaline for ya?"

Scene change to Maple City. A bright cloudy day in an outdoor shopping center. Jade pulls up to a nearby parking spot.
Stone: "You sure you don't want me to come with you?"
Jade: "What, so you can sound the irregular alarm? No thanks."
She steps out of the car.
Jade: "Just stick to the plan."
She pulls out a small glass case, pulling out some contact lenses and putting them on.
Jade: "Let's see. Stone said there were two in this area a couple minutes ago."
Jade's green eyes now have a bright glow.
Jade: "Heh. Who needs that clunky device when your contacts can do the job?"
PAGE 5
She walks past a few people until she makes it to a clothing store. A strange looking mannequin stands near the entrance.
Jade: "Don't see any yet. Just a bunch of shoppers."
Off screen voice: "Can we go there?!?!?!"
The voice of a little girl catches Jade's attention.
Jade: Huh?
Jade follows the voice and finds three individuals walking in her direction: Wendy, Iris, and Chase.
Jade: That one's full of energy.
Apparently, when Iris asked to go into the store, she was referring to the store she's pointing at: His and Her Toys.
Iris: "Can we go? Please?"
Chase: "Nah. We'll uh, pass for now."
Iris: "But I wanna see the cool toys."
Wendy speeds up her walking, grabbing Iris's hand.
Wendy: Keep walking. Keep walking.
Jade takes a closer look at the three. Iris and Chase have a computerized looking outline around their bodies. Wendy looks normal.
Jade: Hold on. Two irregulars! I found them already?
Jade walks toward the three, looking at a phone as if she isn't paying attention.
Jade: I should say hi.
PAGE 6
Jade "accidentally" runs into Chase, falling forward. Chase catches her.
Chase: "Gotcha."
Chase: "You alright?"
Jade: "Oh, clumsy me!" Nice reflexes on this one.
They face each other and speak. Chase slightly raises a brow.
Chase: "Not at all, ma'am."
Jade smiles at Chase in a flirtatious manner.
Jade: "Hehe. Nice catch."
PAGE 7
Irritated, Wendy crosses her arms while side-eyeing Chase pretty hard. Iris just looks curious.
Wendy: *Ahem* "Um, honey, we're supposed to continue our shopping." Geez.
Chase: "Of course." I almost forgot.
Jade: "Honey? Aw, that's too bad."
Jade makes her way past the group, but not before turning to give Chase a sweet smile.
Jade: "See you around."
Wendy: "Yeah, keep walking."
As Jade makes distance, she takes another look at them, specifically Wendy. She glares at Wendy's badge, which is on her waist under her shirt.
Jade: "Interesting. An irregular and a cop, huh?" This just got more interesting. I wonder if she's the cop Stone mentioned.
PAGE 8
Jade makes her way to another clothing store and sees a mannequin standing tall at the entrance.
Jade: "Hmm…if I didn't know any better, I'd say they're undercover military bots stationed for security purposes."
Jade moves in on the mannequin.
Jade: Fool me once. Gotta play it cool.
Jade puts her arm around the mannequin and holds out her phone to take a picture. A woman nearby stares at her as if she's crazy.
Jade: "OMG, a selfie with a mannequin is sooo gonna get me some likes!" Alright, I know you're a bot. C'mon.
She feels the back of the mannequin's neck and finds a USB port. She shoves something inside.
Jade: Gotcha!
The mannequin's eyes start to glow.
Jade: "Great. Now do me a favor."
PAGE 9
Jade smiles at the bot, handing it a few devices, pointing at the other stores with mannequins in them
Jade: "I need a little help with an integration project. Pass these out to your mannequin friends, will ya? Puff puff pass." Irregulars can't hide out behind the scenes forever.
Jade leaves the scene.
Jade: "Let's see how our little cop handles the situation." Her irregular friends will have to jump in to save the day. And then the public will see first hand...
PAGE 10
Shift to Wendy's perspective. Wendy looks bothered.
Chase: "I mean, being called honey by a gorgeous woman like you is quite flattering. But, you seem a little bothered playing this role."
Wendy: "It's not that. Even though we're faking it, I can't stand someone flirting with a guy who's clearly taken."
Wendy: "People are happily married for a reason. And some miserable person tries to make cracks like that just… *sigh* it blows me."
Chase: "Nah, I get it. You're a real family-oriented type, aren't you?"
Chase raises a brow with a soft smile.
Chase: Stacking points for inner beauty. I got nothin' but respect.
Some random person: "Aaaaaah!!!!"
The three turn their attention towards the scream.
Iris: "What was that?"
Chase: "Sounds like trouble! Let's check it out."
Wendy: "Hold on!"
Wendy grabs her friends by the shoulders, attempting to huddle up.
Wendy: "You two are irregulars. It's best if you let me take the lead on whatever the situation is."
Iris: "Follow the leader!"
Chase: "We'll back you from the shadows. Good luck."
PAGE 11
Wendy makes her way towards the scream, passing shoppers.
Wendy: I mean, it could just be a shoplifter. Maybe there's no need to get all dramatic-
Wendy comes to a stop, shocked by what she sees; ahead of her is a corrupt bot holding a man against the front door of a floral shop. Next to them is a little boy about 5 years old grabbing the bot by the leg.
Boy: "Let go of my daddy!"
Man: "G-get away, son. Daddy's got this!"
The man is surprised as Wendy furiously shoulder tackles the bot away.
PAGE 12
Wendy stands off against the bot. The man next to her is leaning against the wall with his son checking on him.
Boy: "Daddy!"
Man: "I'm okay, son. Let's just get home to mommy. Ma'am, you'd better run."
Wendy moves her shirt just enough to show her badge.
Wendy: "No can do. Officer Wendy at your service. I'll handle things here. You and your boy get somewhere safe. And call for help." Forgot my radio.
Man: "Thank you! Good luck."
Large panel split in half by a diagonal line. On the left is the bot. On the right is Wendy looking at the bot. The word VS is in the middle of the panel.
PAGE 13
Scene change, Devlon's perspective. Devlon and Jasmine walk down the street in what looks like a low income neighborhood. The houses look very similar to one another. Nothing beat up, but far from fancy. The streets are filled with cracks and potholes.
Jasmine: "Soooo, what ya wanna do? You hungry?"
Devlon: "What? We're supposed to be looking around for anything out of the ordinary."
Jasmine: "We're out of the ordinary."
Devlon: "..."
Jasmine: "Besides, we're looking for some faceless freak that attacks irregulars. I'm sure it'll find us."
Devlon: "That's true. Man, I don't really know what to do here."
Jasmine gives Devlon a wink.
Jasmine: "Well, I was thinkin' tacos."
Devlon: "You know what? That sounds good."
As the two continue to walk, a familiar face tails them. It's stone, wearing a gag mustache and a Smooth Criminal hat.
Stone: "Tacos, huh?" More in the mood for pizza, but whatever.
PAGE 14
The two find themselves in a small family restaurant, seating themselves across from one another in a booth.
Devlon: "Hey, didn't Elliot say something about people being moved from the neighborhoods because of the danger? Doesn't seem that way to me."
Jasmine: "That's only on one side of town. Plus, when danger comes, lower income areas don't usually get the memo."
Devlon: "How do you know that?"
Jasmine: "Ever heard of a book? Plus, I know from experience."
Jasmine focuses on her menu.
Devlon: "Right. You've been at Site 7 longer than most of the gang. But I guess anyone would tend to remember details like that."
Jasmine: "Yeah. I guess your case is a bit different, as far as remembering details go." Hey, there's a veggie option for this!
Devlon lowers his head, then looks at Jasmine with a soft emotional look.
Devlon: "By the way. Thanks for the talk."
Jasmine: "Huh? What, about the past? I didn't mean anything by that. It's not your fault you don't remem-"
Devlon: "Not that. About healing. You seem pretty worried about me lately."
Jasmine turns the page of her menu.
Jasmine: "Just looking out for you."
PAGE 15
Devlon: "Mental health. You're worried about mine. Does it remind you of him?"
Jasmine looks away for a moment, rolling her eyes up as if she's trying to remember something.
Jasmine: "What, my dad? Why would you think that?"
Devlon: "Why wouldn't I? I mean, you know. He-"
Off screen voice: "Hola! Are you two ready to order?"
Front view of a man with a tablet at their table.
Jasmine: "Oh, uh yeah. You have any vegetarian options?"
Man: "Of course! Vegetariano is on the back."
Jasmine: "Oh, I'll take the veggie tacos with beans and rice."
Waiter: "You got it amiga. And for you?"
Devlon: "Um… what would you recommend? I don't really know."
The man suspiciously glares at the two of them.
Waiter: "Hmmm…you two aren't from around here. I can tell."
PAGE 16
Devlon looks nervous because of the waiter's glare.
Devlon: "Um, what makes you say that?" Can he tell somehow? That we're…
Waiter: "I'll be right back."
Devlon becomes nervous. Anxious, even. Meanwhile, Jasmine's keeping her cool.
Devlon: "Does he know? We're not using our abilities. Why would he think-"
Jasmine: "Relax. There are a million other reasons why he would think that."
Ten minutes later, the man returns with two plates of food.
Waiter: "For the lovely señorita. And for you señor, our special carne asada."
Devlon: "Oh…thanks." I don't really eat meat like that.
The man closes his eyes and claps his hands together in a cheerful manner.
Waiter: "Everyone in the area has been here at least once! You two aren't familiar at all, so I just know you're not from around here. I let the guys in the back know that it's on the house!"
Jasmine: "Aaaaalright!"
Devlon: "Th-thank you!"
PAGE 17
Devlon takes a bite of his food. His eyes light up.
Devlon: !!!
Jasmine: "Thought you didn't eat meat anymore."
Devlon: "I don't, but I couldn't refuse the hospitality. But this…" This is amazing! The flavor! The texture!
Waiter: "What do you mean?"
Devlon: "I don't eat meat anymore, but…"
Devlon forms a fist as he stands up and screams.
Devlon: "THIS CARNE ASADA WILL BE THE EXCEPTION!"
Jasmine: "Hahaha."
Waiter: "Hahaha. I'm glad you like it!"
In the distance near the entrance of the restaurant, two individuals walk in. They both wear trench coats.
A woman walks to the two individuals.
Woman: "May I take your coats for you?"
The woman tilts her head in confusion as she looks at the two individuals.
Woman: "Huh? Um señores? I'm sorry. You seem to be missing… faces."
PAGE 18
The woman's eyes shoot out of her head as she throws her arms up.
Woman: "KYAAAAAAAAA!"
The woman runs so fast past Devlon and Jasmine that her body looks like a smeared image.
Woman: "NOPE!"
Jamine: "Wow."
Devlon: "She's fast." Could she be an irregular, too?
Jasmine cracks a smile and chuckles.
Jasmine: "Glad that didn't take too long."
Jasmine turns around in the booth, resting her arm on the seat as she smiles at the two faceless.Devlon reaches for his sword handle, ready to get down to business.
Devlon: "This is what you wanted, right?"
Jasmine: "Yeah. I was starting to get bored."
