"Yes dad, you did the right thing by bringing him to live with us. I'm tired of seeing these old faces." Esther said pointing at both Jason and Christopher.
"Please don't mind her, she's just always annoying. You're very welcome." Christopher said smiling.
"You're welcome little bro." Jason said.
"You're welcome my dear, come give me a hug." Mrs. Hart said spreading her hands out for a hug from Jaden.
"Thank you ma'am." Jaden said as he hugged her.
"You don't need to thank me, it's all out of kindness and don't call me ma'am, you can call me mum, mummy or mother, anyone that suits you." Mrs. Hart said.
"Okay mum." Jaden said.
"Well brother Jaden let's show you around." Esther said.
"Yeah, let's do that." Christopher said and they left with Jaden.
"And I'll will be in my room if you need me." Jason said and left to his room.
"He's a good child, where did you see him?" Mrs. Hart asked.
"I didn't find him but a man named Mr. Gilbert brought him to the hospital this morning and he brought this with him." Father Stephen said opening the box for his wife to see the content.
"Wow!!!!! What are these?" Mrs. Hart asked.
"It's an..." Father Stephen was interrupted by the ringing of his phone. "Hello, who is this and how may I help you?" Father Stephen asked.
"It's me nurse Laura, a patient was just admitted into the hospital and we need a surgeon." Nurse Laura answered in a hurry.
"What's the issue?" Father Stephen asked.
"Kidney failure, he needs a kidney transplant ASAP." Nurse Laura answered.
"Okay I'll be there ASAP." Father Stephen said and hunged up the call.
"Darling, what's the matter? Why are you in a hurry all of a sudden?" Mrs. Hart asked.
"Laura just called me and said there is a patient with kidney failure and I have to be there as soon as possible." Father Stephen answered and kissed his wife on the lips. "See you later." He added and left and Mrs. Hart went to the kitchen to start preparing the dinner.
An hour later, dinner was served and Mrs. Hart called the children to the dinning table.
"Mum, where's dad?" Esther asked. "Why isn't he here?" She asked again.
"Your dad had to go back to the hospital, there was an emergency that required his presence." Mrs. Hart answered. "And I don't think he would be back home today." She added.
"But mum, why didn't you go with dad?" Esther asked.
"I didn't go with your dad because the patient had a kidney failure and needed a kidney transplant and you very well know that's not my specialty, so going would be a waste of time and who will prepare the dinner and take care of you guys while we are gone?" Mrs. Hart answered and asked.
"Jason could do that, so it was not really necessary for you to stay back." Esther said.
"Are you trying to drive me out of my house?" Mrs Hart asked jokingly.
"No mum, I was only telling that so that next time it will be good to excort your husband, nothing more." Esther said.
"Okay, I have heard you, you're really a talkative. Now eat up before your food gets cold." Mrs. Hart said.
"So mum, would Jaden come with us to school tomorrow?" Christopher asked happily.
"Yes dear, he would." Mrs. Hart answered.
"Finally, now I've got someone to talk to that is of my age and can understand me." Christopher said.
"So who am I?" Jason asked.
"You don't usually talk much, you are so cold and you are also not of the age with." Christopher answered.
"How can you seriously talk to me in that manner?" Jason asked again.
"I..." Christopher was interrupted by his mother.
"Okay, stop it you two. This is the dinner time, at least respect the food and have some manners. Am I clear?" Mrs. Hart asked.
"Okay mum." Jason and Christopher said at the same time.
"Jaden are you done with your food?" Christopher asked.
"Yes I'm done and it was very delicious." Jaden answered.
"Thank you my son." Mrs. Hart said.
