"What... Do you want me to choose?" Sakura asked, trying to keep her voice from shaking, but failed.
"Death, or me," Aetherion said as he pressed his knee up against her crotch, and she gasped. "Do you want to die? Or would you rather die later to get what you truly desire? I will let you make your own choice."
"I..." Sakura tried to say, but was cut off by Aetherion's next words.
"I am not the person you tried to kill, so there is no reason for me to take revenge on you. I will need someone to help me with certain aspects of this new world, but if you wish to die now, I can find another," Aetherion said, and Sakura only looked at him in confusion.
"You are not the same man? What did you mean by you died and rose up again? You don't have any other personalities do you?" Sakura asked, and Aetherion shook his head.
