In my memory, there seems to be no objection to changing eyes. Uchiha will not mention it for now; for Madara, changing eyes is easier than drinking waterâjust snap it off and put it on.
It's relatively easy to understand within the same clan; regardless of the argument, there is a blood relationship. However, Mist Shinobi took one of the HyĹŤga clan's eyes, only to pretend they could use it, as was the case with Kakashi and Obito.
This thing is like a mobile phone batteryâit can be used with a universal charger.
Kakashi's eyes are uncomfortable. That's none of my business. If he wants to see me, he can come find me! What, should I go looking for him? How big is your Kakashi face?
Yagami didn't take this matter to heart and followed the Third Hokage from Konoha to the Daimyo's Mansion, then rushed back from there, which took an entire day.
In the end, I was also implicated by the Third Hokage and didn't even have a bench in the Daimyo's residence. If I have time to worry about Kakashi, I might as well take a good rest, then go to the Police Department to visit Danzo, that old b*****d!
One thing is clear: after locking up Danzo, Yagami felt as if 80% of the pressure on him was lifted at once. It's evident that this old dog is the one who wants to destroy the Uchiha.
On the day the Third Hokage returned to Konoha, the village and the daimyo jointly issued an announcement explaining the assassination attempt on the daimyo.
As expected, Konoha's high-level executives were not implicated in it. The only fallout was that Konoha had more than a dozen traitors, and Danzo, who had previously caused trouble, was only charged with lax control and dealt with publicly by stripping him of his high-level status.
Cloud Shinobi and Iwagakure Shinobi were very dissatisfied with such an outcome. Aside from giving everyone a joke to watch, Konoha essentially took no damage, which is really frustrating.
Why can't the Daimyo of the Land of Fire be tougher? If he can't, he can ask us for helpâwe're happy to help him fight Konoha.
But now that they've already compromised, no matter how unwilling the two villages are, they can only let their respective daimyo vent during the gathering.
For this daimyo party, initially, the Fire Country daimyo wanted to find allies, but now that the matter has concluded, the purpose of the gathering has naturally changed.
The daimyos are all relatives, and when they meet, they don't open hostilities, so daily comparisons are the main focus of the party.
To impress his relatives, the Fire Country daimyo directly booked the Uchiha Grand Hotel, the closest to the Daimyo's Mansion, bringing along hundreds of servants and waiters and thirty-one Uchiha members.
Especially the thirty-one leading Uchiha shinobi, who are standing in two neat rows. Just by looking at them, you can sense their strength.
Just kidding! These people are all JĹnin of the Uchiha clan. Such power is more than enough to protect the daimyo; they are fully qualified to form an elite assault team in wartime.
When the Fire Country daimyo appeared, the daimyos of the Land of Thunder and the Land of Earth looked on with envy, staring intently.
They were on the verge of merging with their own Hidden Villages, yet didn't receive this kind of treatment.
At most, they had a three-person squad accompanying them.
It's one thing to admit that you can't compete in strength or numbers, but you can't even match in appearance. Look at Uchiha's striking presence, then look at the eccentric characters around you.
"In the past, our gatherings weren't just about watching dances or playing cards. Today, I'll let you experience something newâI promise it'll open your eyes!"
The Fire Country daimyo was very pleased with the reactions of his three relatives. The Water Country daimyo didn't attend due to the difficulty of crossing the sea, which he found bothersome.
Although the ninja guards of the Land of Thunder and the Land of Earth are unimpressive, they're still better than the Land of Wind's daimyo, who has only one ninja wandering around him.
The Uchiha Grand Hotel caters to both the wealthy and the general public. The first and second floors are for commoners, offering simple items and a warm, accessible atmosphere.
The upper floors, reserved for the wealthy, are resplendent with luxurious decorations and distinctive small units. Whether you prefer extravagant or understated luxury, the Uchiha Grand Hotel has something to satisfy every taste.
The various entertainment options introduced at the gathering captivated the daimyos from the three major countries, offering a welcome diversion from simply sitting around and playing cards.
In recognition of this, the Fire Country daimyo even sent a letter to Sarutobi Hiruzen, praising the Uchiha and urging Konoha to follow suit, adding that they shouldn't keep asking him for money.
Already exhausted by Danzo's antics, the Third Hokage nearly spat out blood upon reading the letter, angrily sending Yagami over 20,000 feedback points.
If it hadn't occurred to him later that the daimyo's letter indicated forgiveness for past grievances, the Third Hokage might have woken up in the middle of the night exclaiming, "You're so difficult!"
While the Third Hokage was busy cleaning up after Danzo, the two elder advisors were preoccupied with patching up the village's finances, leaving them with no energy to pay attention to Uchiha.
With the daimyo's request in mind, the Uchiha clan found themselves freer than ever in Konoha.
Yagami secretly skipped checking in at the police department for over half a month.
He slept in every day, inspected Naruto's and Sasuke's training progress, and then filled his days with eating and resting.
Forget about Kakashi's eye issuesâhe even forgot about visiting Danzo. After being reminded by Fugaku today, he yawned, strolled around the police department, and stopped by to see Danzo.
Although the police department was no longer in Uchiha territory, Yagami still served as the captain, and several Uchiha members remained there.
After Danzo was imprisoned, the Fifth Elder even borrowed a team from the Fourth Elder to keep an eye on Danzo. Should this old b*****d try to manipulate Uchiha, the guards wouldn't need ordersâthey would make sure he experienced the feeling of wanting to die.
So when Yagami saw Danzo, he was shocked. If not for the bandages on his head and hands, he wouldn't have recognized him.
Danzo's mental state was visibly deteriorated, with bloodshot eyes, though there were no visible injuries, showing he had suffered repeated genjutsu here.
"Uchiha Yagami! I'll kill you!"
Danzo's mind was on the verge of collapse. Although the Sharingan's illusions couldn't physically harm him, the repetition was taking its toll.
Yet, even in this state, Danzo recognized Yagami instantly, showing how deeply Yagami occupied his thoughts.
"Damn it! He can still recognize meâclearly, I haven't used enough genjutsu. I'll give him a little reward."
Yagami wasn't interested in talking to this old dog, so he left him with a little greeting.
After instructing the clan members to keep a close watch on Danzo, Yagami decided to stroll around the office area and check on Kakashi.
This was mainly a matter of appearance.
Poor Kakashi had been hospitalized for quite some time. Yagami expected him to come by himself, but that hadn't happened.
"Hello, Captain!"
Seeing Yagami, the shinobi on duty quickly stood at attention and greeted him.
After casting them a curious look, Yagami proceeded to his office.
"Huh! I didn't expect the captain to show up at the police department today."
After greeting him, the shinobi visibly relaxed, glancing at Yagami's office with a hint of relief.
No wonder they reacted this way. Beyond their orders to respect Uchiha's position in the police department, knowing that the former Hokage's assistant was imprisoned here by the Uchiha made them take things seriously.
Compared to a year ago, the Uchiha were no longer considered untouchable.
When he entered his office, Yagami noticed two stacks of documents on his desk. Considering his status as captain was mostly symbolic, who was foolish enough to leave paperwork here?
Knock, knock, knock!
While pondering, he heard a knock on the office door.
"Come in."
As the top leader of the police department, it's understandable that no one usually seeks him out, but now that someone was here, he decided to receive them.
"Captain, it really wasn't easy to meet you at the police department. Although the department has established a contact system and doesn't require your attention on most matters, you haven't been around in days, which isn't ideal!"
A female shinobi with a bold demeanour entered and, with precise words, criticized Yagami for his lack of responsibility.
"You are⌠Yōhi Kurenai? You seem to have a lot to say to me⌠No, I see resentment in your eyes!"
Yagami paused, taking a moment to recognize the young, striking kunoichi, but upon noticing her red eyes, he quickly identified her.
Thanks to his keen sense, Yagami picked up on Kurenai's hostility toward him. He couldn't recall any prior interaction, so where was this hostility coming from?
"It's just a matter of principle. As the captain, you should fulfil your responsibilities. With your neglect of the police department, where does that leave the village's safety?"
"No! Your issue with me isn't about my department management. You know that my approach is actually well-suited to the current situation, but you still choose to cause trouble. You clearly have a personal grievance, which is why you're looking for fault with me. We don't have any unresolved issues, right?"
Yagami wore a thoughtful expression. Since Uchiha relinquished control of the police department, most villagers no longer harboured hostility toward them, except for a few with special reasons.
Yagami realized that while Kurenai harboured hostility, it wasn't entirely directed at him; it felt more like she was venting indirectly.
