Alex's words rang in Lynn's ear over and over again as she stared at him... she bit her lips and drew in a sharp breath to steady herself...
"Yes, you are right...I'm sorry for being nosy," Lynn said in a low voice, and Alex immediately regretted the harsh tone he spoke to her with when all she did was try to be of help to him. "Lynn," he called her name softly, but Lynn took a step back from him and managed a slight smile... "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have, I forgot what my role was for a while... this won't happen again"
