It all began years ago when Earth, once a place of peace, suddenly transformed into a habitat, barely having life in it.
This drastic change occurred due to the appearance of mutated monsters, brought about by an energy source that crash-landed on Earth. Remarkably, this energy also bestowed unique abilities upon select humans, who were subsequently classified into different classes based on their powers.
The energy sources gradually evolved into Ruins, which attracted monsters due to their rich energy content, leading the creatures to establish new habitats within them.
Consequently, the ruins became places where humans sought to grow in strength in order to defeat the resident monsters, using the abundant energy found there. The worldwide government became more united than ever as they joined forces to combat the numerous beasts that emerged in various regions of the world.
A surprising development occurred as the Ruins evolved over time. Instead of humans actively entering them, individuals aged 10 and above from different parts of the world were automatically summoned against their will into the Ruin Towers.
Due to a lack of fighting knowledge, 20% of those summoned tragically lost their lives. As a result, the united government created a law requiring all individuals aged ten and above to learn how to fight, enabling them to defend themselves in times of emergency.
This measure proved successful, significantly reducing the death rate. Humans were finally able to conquer some low-level ruins, conducting extensive research and discovering immense benefits within the Ruins. Those who successfully conquered Ruins experienced increased rankings in their abilities, setting them apart from their peers.
Humans grew more formidable as they conquered additional ruins, and those who participated in these conquests were referred to as hunters.
Hunters became akin to celebrities, as many people idolized them. After all, without the hunters, the world would be on the brink of annihilation.
As the number of hunters increased worldwide, different governments sought to assert their dominance by showcasing the quantity of hunters within their respective states.
The Ruins underwent a final evolution, no longer drawing people into them, but instead unleashing even stronger beasts. As a result, hunters formed groups known as guilds, working together as a team to conquer the ruins. They understood that each conquered ruin meant one less breeding ground for beasts and reduced the number of portals.

"Stark what are you still doing in your room? Get down here for lunch?" Stark's mother shouted his name from the kitchen as his lunch was ready.
"Mommy... I'm coming, just one more round, I promise I'll come eat," Stark exclaimed, his eyes fixed on the computer screen, hands gripping the game controller. He was engrossed in playing a popular game called Battle of The Beasts.
Stark Miller, a ten-year-old boy, always had the habit of playing games. He wasn't the type that had friends, which made him often labeled as a nerd by his peers, causing him to retreat further into his video games. The only place where he could connect with others was when he played games.
After returning from school, he would rush to his room, settle into his gaming chair, and play Battle of the beast for hours on end.
Despite his parents' urging him to make friends, Stark resisted, but due to him being extremely intelligent they never bothered to stop him from gaming.
"When is this game going to get harder? All of them here are all bots?" Stark said as his hands glided on the game controller at the same time keyboard.
Just as Stark was about to defeat the final boss, a sudden energy disruption rocked his worl
*BOOOOM!*
A loud sound erupted as he was momentarily distracted as it sent a devastating vibration to their house and his window shattered and he was thrown back by the repelling force and he hit his back on the wall and became unconscious.
********
Ten minutes later, Stark woke up, groggily opening his eyes to a world turned upside down. As he struggled to make sense of the chaos around him, he wondered,
"What's happening?" He shook his head, feeling a headache as it throbbed against the wall. The pain could have been caused by the impact of the blast that had propelled him into the wall.
His room was now a shambles of its previous self. As he didn't understand what was going on. He tried to stand up to recover from the blow, but unfortunately, he couldn't. Then something strange happened. As he looked out the window, he saw something unexpected.
He moved closer to the window to get a better look, and to his surprise, the unexpected scene played out right before him.
"What the hell!" he exclaimed, shocked to see a large boulder half submerged in flames, plunging about 20 feet into the ground.
A strange purple aura surrounded the boulder, and the worst part was that a rabbit passing by began to increase in size as it inhaled the aura. Suddenly, the rabbit, which had been only 0.8 feet tall, grew in size and exceeded ten feet.
Its teeth became ferocious, and its eyes filled with terror as they turned bright red. Stark couldn't fathom what was going on as fear took over, causing him to move backward. Suddenly, the rabbit's eyes locked onto him, as it desperately wanted to devour him
"I hope it's not what I'm thinking," he rushed backward, running out of his room and immediately downstairs, desperately searching for his mother.
"Mom! Mom! Something bad is happening right now!" Stark called out, searching for his mom throughout their almost destroyed home. Suddenly, he felt a hand grasp his shoulders, and he shivered in fear as he turned around. Surprisingly, it was his mom, but she had blood on her stomach.
"Stark, run as fast as possible and get out of here," his mother said, holding her hands to try to stop the bleeding.
"Mom! Why are you bleeding?" Stark was completely afraid of what was happening as events unfolded too rapidly.
"Go, Stark, it's coming!" his mother shouted, surprising him. In the next moment, something happened too quickly.
His mother was dragged away by a long tongue, stretching her hands toward Stark as she said,
"I love you." In an instant, a lizard viciously attacked, as it sank his mother's razor-sharp teeth sinking into Stark's mother, causing blood to spill right before his eyes. Stark screamed in horror,
"Nooooo!"
