Melanova tilted her head to one side, bemused. "Magic for locking ledgers and documents? An unusual question, but yes, I do know of it. Such magic isn't exactly common, though, and not just anyone can perform such feats of magic."
Elara stepped further into the room, encouraged by the response. "Who can? Is it magic that you're capable of?"
Melanova gave a soft laugh and shook her head. "Flattering, but no. What you're describing would require the skills of a Glamoursmith. Divine tier, specifically."
Elara blinked. Of all the Mages that could have done it, she would have pegged it to be the work of a Seer before she thought of a Glamoursmith.
"A Glamoursmith? I thought they only worked on... you know, cosmetic stuff. Faces, hair, appearances."
