Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: The World of Naruto

"Might Guy!"

The screen emitted red steam as Might Guy burned his life force, opening the Eighth Gate, forming the Eight Gates Released Formation, and performing the strongest blow of his life to fight against Madara Uchiha.

But at this most exciting moment, Alex Carter's phone rang non-stop. He could only press the spacebar to pause, and then pick up the phone impatiently.

"Hey, what's up?"

"Alex, to celebrate the end of Naruto, the Pegasus Internet Café is hosting a 'Strongest Ninja' event. It's a solo competition using only the four ninja champions from League of Legends…"

Before Mike could finish speaking, Alex asked, "What's the prize?"

No matter how much it is, the prize is the key. It's not that he is greedy for money, but it would be foolish not to take it.

Moreover, because of his love for Naruto, the four ninja champions are the heroes he is best at. In the Grandmaster rank, it is not a problem to use these four heroes to stabilize the lane, and his contribution in team fights is ridiculously high, making him a well-deserved MVP king.

"The champion gets a thousand dollars, the runner-up five hundred, and the third place two hundred," Mike said excitedly. Although he didn't have the ability to win the prize, Alex could. As long as Alex got the prize, they wouldn't have to worry about internet fees and food money for the next few days.

"Oh, that's good."

Hearing this enticing prize money, Alex was determined to win the championship. After chatting a bit more, he hung up the phone, packed his things, and walked to the nearby Pegasus Internet Café.

The walk was easy and relaxed; there was no need for nerves. His Grandmaster rank and deep understanding of the four ninja champions—Shen, the Eye of Twilight; Zed, the Master of Shadows; Akali, the Fist of Shadow; and Kennen, the Heart of the Tempest—made him confident he could face any opponent.

When he arrived at the Pegasus Internet Café, he saw Mike ushering him in, bought a bottle of water, registered his name, and waited for the game to start.

After the random lottery, the announcement sounded. Alex sat down, shook hands with his opponent, and got ready.

Generally speaking, most people would choose Zed, as he is a well-deserved king of solo matches. But Alex's choice of Shen attracted discussions from the onlookers. They all felt that choosing Shen was a foolish act, as his ultimate is a support skill. What's the use?

Alex knew what he was doing. He didn't want to wait for Zed to reach level 6 and learn his ultimate. He wanted to suppress him from the early stages to the end.

It turns out that there is no inherent strength or weakness in heroes; the summoner is the key.

In the first game, Alex secured first blood, and in the remaining rounds, he won without exception.

In the final game, Alex got serious. This was the most critical match, and he couldn't afford to be sloppy. His opponent's strength was also not weak, making the battle exciting and intense. But in terms of understanding the hero, Alex was superior.

"Win!" Mike shouted loudly.

Alex clicked the "Exit Game" button, but the game interface did not close. Instead, a pop-up box flashed in the center.

[Do you want to pursue your own ninja path?]

Alex was stunned for a moment, thinking that someone was playing a prank, so he nodded [yes] disapprovingly.

Airplanes!

The sky was spinning, his head went blank, and after a buzz…

Alex stood in place, shook his head to stay sober, and looked around.

He was not in the Internet café, not on Earth. The blue sky and white clouds, strange costumes, and various signs showed that he had crossed over into the world of Naruto, which he loved. He was shocked beyond measure and found it difficult to calm down.

It's incredible!

He raised his feet and walked a few steps, feeling very awkward. Subconsciously, he looked at himself and realized his body had actually shrunk. He stretched out his hands to see small and delicate palms, not those of an adult, but a child.

There was a pain in his head, and scattered fragments of memories began gathering in his mind.

The memories that belonged to this child reappeared at this moment.

The child's name was Ren Hayashi, eight years old, living in Konoha Hidden Village. His parents were killed by foreign ninjas. Helpless, he was fortunately funded by good people, allowing him to study in the ninja school. However, he had no talent and was a super crane tail in the class, even ranking at the bottom of the entire school.

"Ren, don't just daydream, practice your shuriken!" The Chunin teacher was a little angry. This kid had poor qualifications and didn't work hard, making it questionable whether he could graduate smoothly.

During this period, Naruto confirmed these points. This was Konoha Hidden Village, in pursuit of peace. Compared to other ninja villages, it was more humane and loving. Ren was a real crane tail, with almost zero presence, and even his classmates couldn't remember his name.

Reminded by the Chunin teacher, Ren took out three shurikens from his ninja bag, looked at the bullseye in front of him, and threw the shuriken with the consciousness of this body.

Swish!

The first shuriken missed the target completely and didn't even hit the edge.

There was laughter all around.

Ren didn't blush. Although he was in a child's body, his mind was already an adult's. If he lost his self-esteem over this, it would be for nothing.

He adjusted his mindset and threw a second shuriken.

Swish!

It hit the edge of the target.

See! That's progress.

But in the eyes of other children, he was still a complete crane tail. Any one of them could hit near the bullseye, and at least one of their five shurikens would hit the bullseye. This was the average strength of Ren's classmates.

The third shuriken was a little closer to the bullseye, but still far off.

The Chunin teacher shook his head slightly when he saw it. This child was among the least qualified in the class he led.
