The man in black spoke, kneeling next to the table where Neuk was seated.
Scanning his soldier, Neuk noticed he was almost naked, his clothes burned off.
"What happened? Did you get my supplies?"
The soldier lowered his head a bit in shame. "I'm sorry, my Lord. The Baron's son had a very powerful knight with him, the one rumored to be a diamond rank. She killed every single one of my men. I only managed to escape because I blew up the warehouse."
As he listened to his soldier, Neuk couldn't help but show a bit of disgust on his face.
"So not only did you come back empty-handed, you made me lose my soldiers too? Yanal, you know how I feel about failures and disappointment."
Neuk slowly tapped his fingers on the table as he carried the same disgust on his face.
There was nothing Yanal could do. Though he was the lead commander of the Barony, he was still no match for Neuk's rage.
