Chereads / It’s Hard To Fall In Love with a Senior / Chapter 5 - Offensive And Defensive Reversal

Chapter 5 - Offensive And Defensive Reversal

The tears gradually stopped, but the sobbing did not cease.

Yamato wiped away her tears, pulled a blue gem from her neck, and was about to throw it out.

However, her hand stopped in the air for a while, then slowly retracted it.

She looked at the gemstone that radiated blue light and was dazed.

This is a token of love given by Su when we parted six years ago, but when we meet again six years later, he seems to have forgotten everything.

He actually dared to murder me!

How dare he say such ugly words to me!

He actually dared to leave!

Asshole!

"I don't want this..."

The scenes from six years ago flooded into her heart, and tears couldn't stop coming out of her eyes.

"Senior, here it is for you."

Su held the newly bought breakfast in his hand and spoke slowly.

The performance begins.

A pure white tissue was handed to him, and Yamato took it subconsciously: "Thank you..."

But the next second—

She threw the tissue aside, held the necklace in her hand, stood up, and looked at Su coldly with red eyes: "Don't call me senior, it's disgusting!"

Yamato used to like Su calling her senior sister because there was a strange ambiguity in it.

But now...

"Who let you in?" she said coldly.

Looking at Yamato, who forced herself not to sob, Su said softly, "I'm sorry, I shouldn't be mad at you."

"Haha, get out!" Yamato pointed at the entrance: "If you don't leave, I will call the police immediately."

"I'm not leaving." Su stared at Yamato: "You just said that if I leave this house, we will be finished, but I didn't leave."

"Heh." Yamato sneered: "Then what is the breakfast in your hand? Don't you go out and buy it by conjuring it?"

"Wherever you are, it is home." Su said softly, "Why would I be willing to leave you?"

As long as there is your place, this city is home everywhere.

Yamato obviously felt that a string in her heart was gently plucked.

But thinking of Su hugging a strange girl and saying such ugly words, she immediately hardened her heart.

If you give him a few points of color, you will dare to open a dyeing workshop. If a tiger does not show his power, he is really a humble person in my love. Can you forgive what you have done?

Seeing that Yamato didn't speak, Su knew that she was a little soft-hearted and immediately pursued the victory: "It took me a long time to guess why you were angry. Did you see that girl?"

Yamato's face was expressionless; she only thought of it now, it's too late!

"I don't know that girl at all. When I was eating breakfast by the roadside, she came over inexplicably. After saying a lot of inexplicable things, she hoped that I would give her a hug. Maybe there is some kind of disease. If she is pitiful, I will give her that." Su continued to add.

This is Su's performance.

The innocent explanation after the ups and downs of the mood is more likely to be heard.

But because of the previous conflicting dialogue, Yamato would definitely have some grudges, and this is exactly what Su wanted.

Because in this way, she will not continue to tempt herself, nor will she take the initiative to establish a more intimate relationship with him.

She will continue to investigate, and this not-so-close distance is exactly what Su wanted.

He looked at Yamato and continued, "I shouldn't have said such ugly words to you. I will keep your kindness to me in my heart. How could I be complacent just because you cooked and washed my clothes for me?"

Su looked at Yamato sincerely: "I'm a bastard, and I'm so ugly, I've made you feel wronged. I know that bad words hurt people, but no matter if you beat me or scold me, I hope I can get your forgiveness."

After a pause, Su added the last sentence: "My reaction is slow; if I thought at the beginning that it was because of the hug of a strange girl that made you angry, I would definitely explain it to you. I also wanted to talk to you about the neurotic behavior of that girl."

Ruoli, I'm sorry, look at this pot; it's big and dark.

Su's words are very skillful, not only weakening his own mistakes but also making Yamato blame herself.

If you start speaking clearly, there will be no quarrel, right?

He carefully observed Yamato's expression, and sure enough, she saw her expression loosen, and she felt a little remorse.

No, the offense and defense are reversed.

"Yeah, if I had asked clearly at the beginning, it wouldn't have turned out like this..."

Yamato thought silently, but she didn't plan to forgive this stinky junior brother who made her cry so easily!

The harsh words still lingered in her mind.

"What do you think I'm angry about?"

Hearing Yamato's much softer voice, Su felt relieved—very good, everything was expected.

She began to forgive him, but she would not forgive him completely.

"How come? You should be angry. If I see that you are intimate with a certain boy, I will be angry too," Su said softly.

"You said I'm being humbled?"

"Impossible, but I fell in love with you first," Su said seriously.

"You said that I condescended to wash your clothes and cook for you?"

"From today onwards, I will wash and cook for you." Su patted his chest and added, "All the clothes."

Yamato gave him a fierce look: "Don't give me skin!"

"As ordered." Su nodded and bowed.

Looking at Su at the moment, the anger in Yamato's heart was almost gone.

After all, it was just a misunderstanding, and she took part of the responsibility on herself.

If you ask clearly at the beginning, this will not be the case.

"Humph!" Yamato's arrogant attributes were activated again. Although she forgave Su, she didn't say anything, but took the breakfast from his hand and opened it; it was still steamed buns.

"Tsk, where did you buy this? It's really unpalatable."

Su said softly, "Because it was you who bought it before; it was delicious no matter where it was."

"Humph." Yamato pointed to the messy floor: "Go, clean up."

"Okay!" Su acted immediately, and soon, the floor was cleaned.

"Sister, are you satisfied?"

"Not bad." Yamato said vaguely with a piece of wonton in her mouth.

"Then, can you forgive the junior who made mistakes?" Su asked tentatively.

"Thinking beautifully!" Yamato kicked him: "Why should I forgive you? There's no benefit!"

"Alas... I really want to run together every morning, cook together at noon, and drive together at night..." She seemed to be muttering to herself, but those beautiful purple eyes glanced at Su from time to time.

Su smiled bitterly in his heart; the price was a bit high.

At least bargain.

"From now on, I'll accompany you to do morning exercises, cook meals, and drive once a week, okay?"

"Every week???" Yamato's voice increased several decibels: "It seems that you didn't realize your mistake at all!"

"Every day, every day, I made a mistake." Su corrected quickly, then said cautiously, "But you are so busy every day..."

"I have time," Yamato said blankly. "Aren't you happy?"

"I'm happy, of course, I'm happy to be with you, Senpai. You make me so happy."

Yamato looked at Su and continued to attack: "You just said to cook together; can you cook?"

"Uh..." Su struggled for a while: "I can order takeout..."

"Are you rich?"

"Of course I... not anymore!"

"I knew it!" Yamato snorted softly. "If you don't have enough time, I will give you money in the name of Senior Sister..."

"Really, eat my food, drink my food, and live with me, junior; you are really a useless man."

"The doctor also said the same, saying that I have a bad stomach, so I'm suitable for soft rice," Su giggled.

Yamato rolled her eyes and said, "You are suitable for takeout that is not nutritious!"

"Takeout is delicious."

"You really don't want a face at all," Yamato laughed.

Looking at Yamato's expression, Su asked again, "Did you forgive me?"

"You really don't know that girl?" Yamato squinted at Su.

After talking about feelings for a long time, what she cares about most is this matter. She clearly cares about it, but only asks after so much nonsense...

Su took a deep breath and raised his finger: "I swear, I really don't know her!"

After going back in time, I really don't know too much. Well, I'm not lying!

Yamato showed satisfaction in her eyes. After Su explained it at the beginning, she believed it; she just wanted his attitude.

"Then, this girl's affairs can be revealed..."

"It depends on your performance." Yamato hummed softly: "You must not make me angry anymore. Before the start of school, you are in a state of [to be seen], understand?"

"I see."

Su loosened his fingers; perfect—what he wanted was the state of [to be seen].

Everything is under control.

This feeling of dancing on the tip of a knife is really... so cool.

"I'm full; you pack up."

Yamato put down the chopsticks: "I'm too tired

to take off my makeup, take a bath, and get some sleep. You clean the house first, water the flowers, and then cut some fruit for my bedroom, and you have to reflect on your own mistakes!"

She glared at Su: "Reconsider seriously."

"Received!" Su replied, a mix of relief and determination coursing through him. He watched as Yamato walked away, the weight of her gaze lingering in the air, feeling both chastised and grateful for her presence.

As she disappeared into the bathroom, Su set to work. He tidied up the messy floor, muttering to himself about how he'd somehow gotten himself into this situation. If I keep this up, I'll be her personal maid! he thought with a smirk.

Once the floor was spotless, he moved to the flowers, making sure they were well-watered and vibrant. He plucked some fresh fruits, arranging them beautifully on a plate, trying to think of how to improve his standing with Yamato.

I really need to make her smile, he mused, picturing her soft expression when she was happy. He could almost hear her laughter echoing in his mind, the sound sweet and comforting.

After finishing his tasks, Su flopped down on the couch, feeling both physically drained and mentally exhilarated. He glanced at the door to the bathroom, wondering what was taking Yamato so long. The silence was palpable, and he felt a strange mixture of anticipation and anxiety.

Suddenly, the bathroom door opened, and Yamato emerged, her hair slightly damp and cascading down her shoulders, wrapped in a simple robe. The sight stole Su's breath for a moment.

"Did you finish everything?" she asked, eyeing the plate of fruit he had prepared.

"Yes! All done, just for you," he said, his voice slightly more enthusiastic than he intended.

Yamato walked over, her expression softening as she inspected his work. "Not bad," she commented, picking up a piece of fruit and taking a bite. "You actually did well."

Su's heart lifted at her praise. "Just trying to earn my keep," he replied with a grin.

She smirked. "You'll have to do more than this to earn your place, junior."

"Then what's next?" he asked, leaning forward, eager to find out how he could further redeem himself.

Yamato considered for a moment, then said, "We need to have a proper conversation about what happened. And you should apologize to me more sincerely."

"I'm really sorry for how I acted," Su said earnestly, meeting her gaze. "I didn't mean to upset you, I promise."

"Good. But you need to understand that your actions have consequences. I don't want to be disrespected," she replied, her tone firm but her eyes softening slightly.

"I get it. I promise to be better," Su assured her. "I'll work hard to prove that to you."

Yamato nodded, satisfied. "Good. Now, what do you want to do for the rest of the day?"

"I'd love to spend time with you—maybe watch a movie or something?" he suggested, trying to keep the mood light.

"Sounds good, but you have to make the popcorn," she replied with a teasing smile, "And don't burn it!"

"Deal!" Su laughed, feeling a wave of relief wash over him.

As they settled down on the couch, the tension between them slowly dissipated. The day had turned out far better than he had anticipated. Su felt a warmth growing in his chest, realizing that he was willing to do whatever it took to keep Yamato in his life.

As the movie started, he glanced at her from the corner of his eye, finding her absorbed in the film. He couldn't help but smile, grateful for this second chance.

I won't mess it up again, he promised himself.
