**At Fujita's House...**
Kazuki sat on his bed, his eyes fixed on the open pages of a novel. "Hmm, I don't know why lately I've been feeling bored reading novels or manga. It seems like I need to do something new."
With a light movement, Kazuki placed his novel on the mattress and got up from his bed. He stepped out of his room, descending the stairs with a light tread. On the first floor, he found Rin sitting on the sofa, her eyes glued to the TV screen. "It seems she doesn't realize I'm here," Kazuki thought as he approached. He casually sat next to Rin...
"Eh, hey! You didn't even notice I was sitting next to you!" he sighed inwardly.
When Kazuki tried to turn to see what was on the TV, everything suddenly changed. In an instant, he found himself in a very dark room. "This place again! This is the second time I've been in this room. What kind of place is this, really?" He began to explore the darkness, his steps feeling hollow, as if he had no purpose.
After walking for a few minutes, Kazuki saw the silhouette of a boy standing in front of him. Behind the boy, there was another room that was dazzlingly bright, pure white. As Kazuki wanted to approach the boy, reality seemed to pull him back.
"Ahh… ahh…" The sound escaped his lips, and Kazuki's consciousness returned to the real world. "Hey! What's wrong with you? You've been daydreaming this whole time," Rin asked, her face puzzled, looking at Kazuki, who appeared lost.
"Ti... Nothing," Kazuki replied, trying to hide his face that might show his anxiety.
Hmm, really? Yeah, nothing, Kazuki answered nonchalantly.
"Alright then," Rin turned her attention back to the TV.
Before Kazuki's full awareness returned, the boy looked at him; the aura emanating from the boy was very strong and cold. The boy's hair was white, but unfortunately, Kazuki could not see the boy's face.
Who is that boy, really? How did he end up in this place? And why am I trapped there? The questions spun in Kazuki's mind, making him even more confused.
Suddenly, a sharp pain shot through his head, as if something sharp was attacking from within. "What is this? Why does my head suddenly hurt so much?" Kazuki held his head with his right hand.
Meanwhile, Rin was engrossed in her phone, seemingly talking to someone on it. Is she talking to Lena? Kazuki thought. Lena was Rin's new friend, and they seemed to have become quite close.
Kazuki didn't want Rin to know he was in pain. He began to rise from his seat and walked toward his room upstairs. "Eh, Rin, turn off the TV if you're not going to watch it," he said while holding his head.
Rin saw Kazuki leaving, "I knew it without you telling me." She quickly turned off the TV.
"It's already 11 PM," Rin noticed the clock on the wall. She got up from the sofa and went upstairs, entering her room.
In her room, Rin lay on her bed while playing with her phone. She continued talking to Lena.
"Lena: Hey, what are you doing right now?"
"Rin: Hmm, me? I'm just lying on my bed... I don't know what to do."
"Lena: So what about Kazuki? What's he doing now?"
Why is she suddenly asking about Kazuki? Rin wondered in confusion...
"Rin: If it's him, he's probably already asleep in his room."
"Lena: Ehh!!! In his room... So you're not sleeping together?"
"Rin: Hah? Of course not, we're not sleeping together."
"Lena: Ehh, but that's normal for a couple."
"Rin: We're not married, so we won't live together…"
"Lena: Hahahaha. Hey Rin, to be honest, you two are not dating, right?!"
"Rin: Hah!!! What do you mean?"
"Lena: Don't lie to me, I know that."
How can she know that we're not dating? Rin thought to herself, feeling anxious.
"Lena: You're probably wondering how I know, right? It's actually very easy; the way you both talk is very awkward. Just from that, I already know you two are not dating at all."
"Lena: Hey Rin, why are you pretending to date?"
"Rin: Hmm... What can I say, it seems you already know. The reason we pretend to date is so we can have a peaceful life at school. You know I'm always bothered by guys at school, so I decided to pretend to date Kazuki."
"Lena: I understand your feelings. Being a pretty girl can be very troublesome. I'm the same as you. Don't worry, I won't tell them that you're pretending to date. As your first friend, I will keep this a secret."
"Rin: Unfortunately, you're not my first friend…"
"Lena: So how is it living with him? Does he do weird things with you?"
"Rin: I can't even imagine him doing anything weird with me. He prefers reading novels over talking to me. It's as if he sees me as not a woman…"
"Lena: Oh, oh… I see. It's clear he's a wibu. He must be pretending not to do anything weird with you. In his mind, he's probably thinking of something inappropriate about you. I'm sure of it."
"Rin: What are you talking about? I don't understand at all. Wibu or whatever, I don't care about that. I'm sleepy now, so I'm going to sleep. Goodnight…"
After that, Rin placed her phone on the small table next to her bed. She stood up and walked to the light switch. After turning off the light, Rin lay down on her bed.
By the way, I wonder why I feel like Kazuki was in pain on the sofa earlier. Was that just my imagination? Slowly, Rin's eyes began to close, and soon after, she fell asleep.
**In Kazuki's Room...**
"How long is this headache going to last?" Suddenly, in his mind, a blurry image of a boy appeared, but it was not clearly visible.
"What the hell is all this!!!"
"Aahh!" Unable to endure the pain, Kazuki fell onto his bed and lost consciousness.
