Year 2071 A.D…
A man stood atop a tall mountain, a Golden Screen shining before him. Across all televisions and advanced holographic displays, his face appeared, as people looked on, filled with dread and pleading expressions. They begged for mercy, but the man showed no trace of pity. They called him "Kai Hunter."
In 2030 A.D., an asteroid struck Earth, followed by a revelation from the sky: Humankind had lost its way, thriving on pain and suffering—both of others and themselves. Mother Earth, or Gaia, was suffering at humanity's hands. Though not all were corrupt, humanity had to face retribution. The souls of innocent beings, non-human and pure, would be replaced with demonic entities. Humanity was now left to fend off foreign forces without divine protection. Yet, in a final chance, a Seal of Force was unveiled on Gaia.
Then, strange phenomena unfolded: humans awakened various powers, animals mutated into demonic beasts, and dungeons and character windows appeared. Humanity faced an era of war and destruction.
Kai Hunter fought countless battles, earning a place among the ten strongest warriors on Earth. As he was celebrated, he saw the growing despair and tried to help. But in his quest to protect civilization, he lost all his family. Despite his sacrifices, Kai and his comrades were eventually framed as traitors, accused of conspiring with foreign races. Tortured and betrayed, they were executed, except for Kai, who survived thanks to his allies.
Kai, after five years of recovery from both physical and mental suffering, planned his revenge meticulously. When he fully recovered, he exposed the corruption to the world, but his message was met with disbelief. Branded a criminal, he fell into despair and so, he started to look through out the world which he hadn't done during his early life of being a Warrior, indeed by hiding his identity. He experienced the pain, thoughts and feelings of all the people. And so, he found out how much he was wrong. The World was filled with corrupted people, almost everyone except a few exceptions though Kai was then already filled with Hatred that had replaced his anger and despairing sadness.
It took Kai twenty years to perfect his plan. Now, atop Mount Everest, he addressed the world through the Golden Screen, his face cold:
"People of this world, you know my name. I AM KAI, and I am here to finish what Gods should have done ages ago
You know the blood spilled, the lives lost, and the horrors endured in my journey—a journey I never chose but one I lived for all of you.
I was once like any of you. A man who believed in justice, in camaraderie, in the goodness of the human heart. I fought to protect the very civilization that turned against me.
My friends—my brothers and sisters in arms—were torn from me. My family... butchered in battle. And yet, I pressed on, believing I was fighting for a purpose larger than my own pain.
But what did I find as I fought across the world? I saw what people truly are. Beneath the masks of unity and progress, I found rot—corruption that ran so deep, it tainted the heart of humanity itself. A world that embraced lies and betrayal over truth. I was framed, slandered, and hunted down like a beast.
They called me a monster.
But who were the real monsters?
I watched as people who claimed to be virtuous hid in shadows, as the innocent suffered, as the greedy and powerful thrived. The very people who once cheered my name cast me aside, as if my sacrifices meant nothing. They condemned me—yet I fought on, hoping, praying that I was wrong.
But the truth was undeniable. I've seen humanity's true face.
And now, with every foreign land I've conquered, every towering dungeon I've crushed, I bring that truth to the doorstep of your own homes.
This world is broken. Humanity has become a disease, a parasite feeding on the very essence of honor and love.
I have seen enough. No more.
You made me this way. The fire that burns in my heart is one of betrayal, of anger, of pain so deep it could turn oceans to ash.
You labeled me a destroyer, a terror. So, that is what I shall become.
Every corner of this world will know the wrath you created, and civilization itself will crumble by my hand. I will break the chains of your corruption, and bring justice to a world long twisted by lies. And when the dust settles, perhaps whatever remains will learn that power without honor is ruin, that the price of betrayal is annihilation.
I gave humanity a chance. You threw it away. Now, bear witness as I deliver your reckoning."
And so, here, now, I invoke the power granted to me by those who have fallen—my family, my friends, and every innocent soul betrayed by a world too blind to see its own decay. I was framed for being a traitor for having my class evolved to Dark Emperor possessing a bit of otherworldly prowess. I who didn't like this class at all, having been betrayed understood it's prowess and principle allowing me to obtained a new prowess, not a ability but an Authority as the 'Lord of the Dark Dimension, Kamui Dimension'. This 'Authority' became my refuge, my sanctuary where I completed the unfinished weapon of unimaginable force, The Oblivion's Heart—a creation born of pain, tempered by fury, and sharpened by grief. With it, I begin the Eternal Sequence.
Today, I commence the end of humanity, a judgment upon this civilization that has lost its right to call itself worthy of life. I stand as the reaper, ready to sever the ties of this corrupted race. But to the souls of the innocent, I offer a plea to the God who gave life to us all: Forgive them, Lord, and grant them peace. Let the suffering of their innocence rest on my shoulders; let my spirit bear their pain and despair. But to the wicked, those who fed this evil, may they find no place in your light again.
And to the gods of the world, heed my final wish: never grant this world another chance to spread its poison.
For the childhood you gave me, Lord, for the dreams I once held close, I thank you. And with this last act, I bid you farewell."
A quiet moment of dread fills the air as the Eternal Sequence begins, and a terrifying light—an unnatural fusion of darkness and blinding white—descends upon the world. It spreads like a storm, swallowing cities, forests, mountains, and oceans with merciless finality. People look up, paralyzed with fear, confusion freezing their feet, eyes widening in terror as they begin to realize that this is the end.
The cries are overwhelming, pleading voices rising in unison. "God, please! Mercy!" they scream, as if divine intervention might stop this devastating light. Mothers cling to their children, shielding them from the inevitable. Fathers hold their families close, arms wrapped tight around loved ones as if, in sheer desperation, their embrace could protect them from the end. Friends grasp hands, lovers exchange final glances, people close their eyes, praying for redemption—but the light shows no mercy.
The combined force of darkness and white light crashes over humanity like a tidal wave, erasing every trace of life it touches. Cities crumble into dust, memories dissolve, and cries fade into silence. The light consumes all, every soul, every spark of existence. The world becomes silent and still, nothing left but the vast emptiness left in Kai's wake.
As the light claims him, Kai stands alone, feeling the life drain from him, but his gaze turns inward. In this final moment, his life flashes before him. He sees his childhood, running free and laughing, his mother's gentle smile, his father's reassuring hand on his shoulder. Memories of training with his friends, laughing and fighting together, trusting each other with their lives. The warmth of camaraderie, of love, all flashes before him in those last, searing moments. His heart tightens, remembering his dreams, the hope he once held for a world that now lay in ruins beneath his hand.
And in his last breath, as the darkness closes in, a tear slips down his face—not of regret, but of final, solitary acceptance. A whisper escapes him: "I'm sorry." The light consumes him, his soul joining the very world he has destroyed, the world he once fought to protect. And in the silence that follows, nothing is left but the memory of his last act—an end to a civilization, and the shadow of a man who once believed.
The light consumed him, his soul joining the world he once fought to protect. In the silence, only the memory of his final act remained—a judgment upon a civilization, a shadow of a man who once believed.
After the surface was annihilated, the Eternal Sequence shone again, and the world began to heal. The Cosmic Ozone Layer restored, pollution vanished, and seeds of new life were released from the last satellites orbiting Earth.
A voice rose from the depths of the Earth:
"Please, let him have another chance. Please, Lord…"
